It started as a simple tour of the Doge's Palace impatient to meet the history of Venice. We met Antonio at the entrance of the Palace and the tour of falling in love with Venice and it's history started. The pleasure, the joy that were shared by Antonio with explanations at many pictures and rooms inside the Palace definetly made me to want to come back in Venice. I trully recommend to step in the Venice's history with Antonio as a guide. Thank you !

Anna was a fabulous instructor and guide- she is a local and knows Venice like the back of her hand. This was such a fun experience, despite the rain! Highly recommended instead of just paying for a gondola ride!

We just had a wonderful 3-hour tour with Barbara. What a pleasure to walk the neighborhoods with someone so knowledgeable about history, art, architecture, literature, politics, etc. who also has such a warm personality and sense of humor. We especially appreciated how Barbara researched the locations and history of items of special interest to our family. We wish we were staying longer so we could take another tour. Strongly recommend.

Eva shares her passion and knowledge of Venice and its beautiful bits with patience and kindness. I would highly recommend having Eva take you on a tour as soon as you get to the city. She gave us a great overview of the area and other places of interest for the remainder of our time there. She is sensitive and flexible and managed to connect with each one of us in a funny and delightful manner. My family had all our tourist needs taken into consideration during our walking tour. At the beginning Eva asked the right questions to understand what she could/should highlight. She went at our pace and never seemed bothered with our questions. Finally having the bilingual background mix in my family with my German mother, who speaks perfect Spanish due to her Spanish husband; our father- we kids could mix up the language and she always understood us including many laughters. Many BIG thanks to Eva for this unforgettable stay in Venice!

A fantastic holiday experience. The guide, Matteo, was really good and helped make the experience all the better. It was a bit of a nervy start for us, paranoid about falling in, but Matteo helped get us out on the water. The confidence grew from there and standing, or kneeling when the water got a bit choppy, became an ever easier transition. The canals we toured were really quiet but, in the late spring afternoon sunshine, pretty much perfect. I'd definitely recommend the experience, or the kayaking option, for anyone who wants to do a bit more than just the standard tourist stuff.

Really fantastic experience. I booked a solo canal + lagoon tour, which ran four hours. When I arrived at the location, fog prevented us from setting out for an hour (giving me a chance to wander around the fog-shrouded island), but we were out on the water the full four hours. It was a really great way to experience the canals of Venice and the salt marsh areas. My guide, Giovanni, was extremely personable and knowledgeable, as well as being quite safety-conscious when it came to crossing some of the higher-traffic areas of the lagoon. I'll do it again next time I'm there and would highly recommend it. Giovanni did a great job taking photos along the way, but if you are a real photo bug have a waterproof (or at least resistant) camera with a neck strap or a hook & lanyard to clip on, you might want to bring it.

Best way to explore real Venice with its great architecture and unique vibes. No tourists and shops, no rush, nothing but you, your kayak buddy (if any) and the guide. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience kayaking through the canals of Venice! Edward and Tom were super helpful and friendly. Loved it and would highly recommend! We chose this over doing the gondola rides and definitely no regrets!

We wanted to do something "different" in Venice and this was just the thing. First of all Nicolo is a fantastic guide, and a warm person. He was great and easy to communicate with. He started us off with a slideshow and described to us some of the sustainability concerns in Venice as well as some of the "politics" behind people who are trying to get kayaks excluded from Venice. As relative newbies he was very patient with us and overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!!!
