- JurgitaLondon, UK8 contributionsUsed allilaguna to get from airport to hotel.butake sure you leave plenty time, when it's time to go to airport, especially if your stop is last before airport,we got in only on second boat, because their coming full.Written August 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SungirlxxxxWaterloo, Canada965 contributionsEasy booking online.
I made changes online and these were handled promptly and once in Venice I called to reschedule transfer back to the airport and once again this was dealt with promptly.
The driver going to our hotel was distracted the entire time. On his cell phone , eating his lunch, looking for his water etc.
A boat like a car needs full concentration.
We did not feel confident at all with this boatsman on Aug 08 to our hotel .
Fortunately the next morning our driver was very focused.Written August 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The shower did work, but it was not very clean.
The rest was appalling.
Most of the staff were terrible. Customer service was non existent. Of course with one or two exceptions.
The food in the restaurant/cafe looked good but the hot food was all cold. Cold chicken, cold French fries. Cold eggs and cold bacon. Simply terrible.
The ship is basically a freighter with several cabins.
Chucked out of our cabins 3 hours prior to arrival. All holed up in the bar area with all our luggage. Then a terrible live musician started playing to entertain… Simply awful. Public Toilet facilities all CLOSED due cleaning. Just disgusting customer service.
The trip from Ancona to Igoumenitsa took the same time as the competitor ferry takes to do Ancona - Igoumenitsa - Patras. Slooooow. And unpleasant.
Avoid like the plague. This is a terrible service.
I’m a seasoned traveller, and I can take the rough and the smooth. I don’t usually do reviews. This was bad!Written September 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - w1sjEssex, VT216 contributionsThe BEST way to tour Venice. Boats traverse the Grand Canal and other major waterways. A full day pass is a reasonable 25 Euros, good for all day of riding. One issue is that the drivers bang into the docks real hard, which may be a plus or minus, depending on your point of view.Written December 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rita-Ellen J1 contributionBooked with this Company and on our day to return back to Italy 23/10/24
a Police car was at the Port of Patras as we arrived and told us to leave the Port as there was now a 48 hour staff strike on .
End of !!
We tried so hard to get somewhere to stay that night . Luckily we were in a motorhome and we were able to get to a campsite .
Then we had to stay in Greece another four days before we could get our vehicle on and a cabin . Never would I travel with this company .
Further sting we paid for a Luxury Cabin on the return Journey but got allocated a standard cabin no refund for the price difference .

Burano was really nice with all the colors and atmosphere along the channel, but some 40min were missing to wrap it up with delicious lunch in one of the local restaurants.Written November 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When I enter the (first/small boat) I ask if I can go at the back as I had to lie down on the bench due to my partial incapacitation. and I was told there is sharply “NO! get in the front! This is not your boat” when I told the guide my experience with the boat Captain she said you need to do what he says.
( By the way bold head full capacity as number of people so I don’t make any sense who is sitting in the back of the seat in the front)
Guide was an awful moody woman that took some lakes some dislikes among passengers just out of the blue! Apart from dealing with anyway kind of rude Italian way of dealing with tourists, she had the audacity to come to me and tell me in front of the whole boat screaming at me saying to me” you were an awful person” - of course I replied thank you for your comment!
Nice islands and day trip and 2nd (large boat!) Captain
DON’T BUY the Murano Glass souvenirs from the demonstration place. Its NOT the same quality and certainly Prices of clearly dodged to attract foolish tourists
Now dear readers, please judge for yourselves if my review deserves more than 1 star and better comment than this?
I wish you safe travels Venice/Venezia is a breathtaking wonderful place but choose your excursion companies carefully and wisely, both on price and reviews!Written October 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - wendy lCincinnati, OH54 contributionsWe booked a water taxi from the train station (Venezia S. Lucia) to the dock nearest our hotel. I was looking for a less expensive option than the water taxi company the hotel recommended. Venezia Futura was easy to book online, sent me a confirmation email and reminder emails for the pickup. They were 40% less expensive than the other company. I called the number on the confirmation to ask where to meet. They answered my questions and texted me the taxi number. The taxi was ontime and easy to locate. The ride to the hotel down the grand canal was so much fun! They handled our bags and dropped us where we asked. I booked a return trip! The return was early in the am and they were right on-time. Great communication, courteous captains, highly recommend this company!Written October 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
