Love the intimacy and the interaction of the audience with the actors. The singing was amazing and the Palazzo was stunning. La Traviata, however, seemed about 20 minutes too long I would definitely buy the libretto. also, you cannot take pictures.

Beautiful experience in a charming venue. The lead violinist showed great dexterity and passion, which definitely enhanced the experience. Would repeat!

It was even better than i expected. We visited on Wednesday 6th March 2023 on a really horrible night and it didn't effect the turn out. I estimated that there were about 400 -450 seats and it was full. Our performance began at 8:30pm and people were entering at 7:45pm. You cannot reserve specific seats, therefore, it is better to turn up with plenty of time left if you want a good seat. Photography isn't allowed and you are asked to turn off portable phones during the performance. The church of San Vidal provides a great arena for the music and the acoustics are excellent. i would thoroughly recommend.

The venue was very central in Venice, and was a beautiful building which added to the cultural experience. The talent of the musicians was a delight to view, with the main violinist a stand out talent. I would recommend as a must to spend 90 minutes on ones time in Venice.

The dinner at Vinovino was superb followed by a brilliant musical recital. Just make sure you know to move yourself from the restaurant to the church where the concert is held (circa 5 min walk).

Massimo was awesome. He picked us and took us to Padua where he gave us plenty of time to roam around. He even stopped at two places that was not on the plan. His driving skills were excellent. Very professional and so friendly. I will definitely booked Massimo again. Till next time.

I'm generally lucky enough to come to Venice annually, and any visit to Venice is always improved with some glorious live music, transporting us back to the 18C when this city was on the cutting edge of Western music. The Venice Music Project has performed in a number of venues in the city over the years, but their semi-permanent base of Saint George's Church seems to very work well. The programs are on the short side (meaning easy to fit into a full day of activities and before dinner), chosen with care, and performed with energy. There is generally a good mix of instrumental and vocal music. In a recent concert I was particularly impressed by the violinist Giacomo Catana and the lutenist Ivano Zaneghi. Both were superb. Highly recommended!
