Alexandra was the most friendly and personable guide ever! We feel like we made a new friend in Venice. Accommodated our gluten free food requests with no problems at all. Very well known and loved by the local restaurant owners - we were always welcomed warmly. Super thoughtful and clearly cares very much about making sure her guests have the best possible experience. Highest recommendation!

Daniella was a fantastic guide. This tour was the perfect mix of history and food. We had coffee, cicchetti, spritz, risotto, wine and more. I’d recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

Barbara was so great! Since she is a local, it was even more special to hear her stories and spend time with her. She took us to wonderful places. I’m not a big drinker, but I knew that I would really be going for the experience. The people I met were so nice. I’m traveling solo through Italy. This was such a nice way to start my trip in Venice. Thank you, Barbara for such a great time.

I have done a few food tours, and this one was by far the best. Our tour guide Dennis was amazing. We had plenty of food and drink throughout the tour along with some great information about the city. I would highly recommend using this company. go to this tour hungry because there is delicious food and drink

Vanessa had clearly a great connection with all of our food establishments. She gave excellent background information on not just the food we sampled, but on Venetian history and culture. The food was amazing, gave me an opportunity to try things I might not have tried on my own, and was enough to make dinner unnecessary! Wear good walking shoes and be aware that there are many steps to cross canals on the journey, but the steps you will put in counteract the calories of the delicious cichetti. Thank you to Vanessa for a great tour.

My wife and I took this tour as part of our honeymoon in Italy, it was actually the first tour we did when we arrived in the country. We had a nice time and really enjoyed it. Ate some interesting food, great drinks, and learned a little bit about food and drink culture in Venice. Our guide for the tour was Sandro. We started out at a small bacaro where we were all given a spritz cocktail- the local favorite in Venice- and a couple cicchetti- Bread w/ mortadella & cheese and a venetian meatball. Tasty and interesting to learn about the traditional way of having spritz w/ cicchetti as an apertivo. We then went to another small bacaro, where we had a couple more small bites of cicchetti and wine- small glasses of wine they call an ombra. Food was seafood this time, they gave us a choice between a few options, was tasty. Place was pretty small and bare bones- we sat on stools, so definitely not fancy, but both places had a good local feel to them and staff were all nice. Next place we went was a small restaurant called Why Not (I remember thinking the English name was a little weird) for a bowl of pasta and glass of wine. We were given a choice of spaghetti with either pomodoro or cuttlefish ink. My wife went for pomodoro, I had the nero di seppia. Both were a little lackluster, we were a tad disappointed here. We had better versions of both at other places while in Italy. Only reason I took off a star was because this place was a little disappointing and food was not so unique to venice- you can find those dishes anywhere in Italy. Tour then ended with a stop at a gelato shop where we got to pick out a gelato of our choice. Gelato was tasty. All in all, we enjoyed the tour. It's not a huge amount of food- don't go thinking you're going to be stuffed by this tour. Could have been a little more generous with portions but we still were mostly satisfied. Sandro was a good guide, made it fun and had good info on Venetian culture and a little history. Only real negative was the one stop I mentioned for pasta, I think if that was replaced with something else it would be 5 stars. Still would recommend it, good into to food and drink in Venice.

We have done several food tours and this was good but not in the best. The guide, Vanessa was interesting, passionate, informative and patient. The food was good, but I felt it should have been better curated given the price of the tour. We learned alot about the Jewish Ghetto and Venice in general,

This was the highlight of our Venice trip. Ana was our guide, very friendly and good companion. The food and wine selection was amazing, and generous portions, we were full by the end.

Me and my husband are super foodies, we took the Streaty tours in Palermo and Naples and enjoyed them so much! This is why we decided to discover Venice with Streaty as well. Anna Chiara our guide was super friendly and funny, and the tour is great. You have the chance discover the Rialto market of Venice while trying a lot of delicious local food (many famous Venetian "cicchetti", served in authentic "bacari" out of the crowd; 2 traditional and yummy pasta recipes in a family run trattoria, dessert in a historic bakery) and a looot of wine too:)
The atmosphere with Anna Chiara and the rest of the group felt just like being with friends. We will take the Streaty tours in every city where they run:)
    Thank you! Marta

Vanessa was an amazing guide and we were so lucky to have her all to ourselves. This is a fascinating tour of the Jewish Ghetto and Cannaregio area with wonderful food! Vanessa is very well informed and answered all of our questions. It is an emotional place to visit and we learned a great deal about the area. The last stop for gelato quickly became our favorite gelato place in Venice!

Roberto was super accommodating, allowing me to attend this tour during the craziest time of the year in Venice: The Venice Carnivale- imagine that!!!

Despite of us getting stuck in a wall of people, and being surrounded by thousands of locals and tourists in costume for the Venice Carnivale, Roberto still managed to take me to the places he promised, and was patient and super friendly the whole time.

There is SO much that we would never know about a place until a native sits with us at the table, walks with us through the streets, and shares facts that we would never even think to ask about.

Thank you for a very special experience, Roberto! Your kindness and knowledge are quite evident! I had a very unique time!

Anna was our guide and she was great. She showed us the Rialto Market, taking the time to answer questions about the different kinds of fish and explain to us about Italian artichokes. She then brought us to five different establishments for chichetti, traditional Italian pastry, and gelato, as well as wine and spritzes. I definitely felt like it was a great value for what we paid and a really great way to spend a late morning walking around parts of Venice we otherwise might not have found. One thing I really love about food tours is that you get a glimpse into the lifestyle of the locals. Anna was great about that.

We had the best experience on this tour! It began when our guide Paulo picked us up from the station & drove us up to the hills educating us about the region along the way.
Emanuele & Patrizia, the fourth generation owners of the vineyard welcomed us with the history of the family & fed us with local cheese, home made salami’s & of course the bread! I can not recommend this tour enough, our host Paulo was excellent… don’t hesitate to find him when you book your tour, Peter & Margaret
