I read something about the history of the city before this tour, but during the tour I got to truly understand the importance of Venice in history. The guide Chiara was very nice and explained things to make us understand the whole "town to city to empire" history.

The views were spectacular. Great history information. It was perfect for a short tour as we were very pressed for time with wedding activities.

My husband and I really enjoyed taking this tour. Elly was an excellent tour guide, telling us lots of interesting things about Venice and Murano and Burano. The glass blowing demonstration was fascinating, and the gallery was full of beautiful creations. We liked getting to explore the town after. Burano was picture-perfect and relaxing. After seeing the lace making, there was plenty of time to explore and grab a bite to eat. We are so glad that we took a chance on this tour, and would happily recommend it to anyone!

Very well organised set up and our tour guide Dawe Carlo was very good with his knowledge of the city and its history. Gondola was a lovely experience, very tranquil and great to travel through the city’s rich history. It only lasted 15-20 mins so watch out for that! Could have been because it was very busy. We were
Lucky enough to have a gondola being serenaded through the canals. Our free surprise was truly magnificent. Seeing the city from 1700’s onwards and being immersed in that experience. Would recommend you do this when you visit Venice.

First, the leader for our tour (Pamela) was exceptional. She personified the dignity and compassion of Venice.
Second, the history that was shared during the tour was exceptional. While many might focus on St Mark's Basilica, I was particularly interested in Doge's Palace. This was the highlight of this tour. So much history and insight into the society. Pamela not only shared fact, but also engaged the group to think about what they were seeing which brought the palace to life.
This is an exceptional experience that will provide insight into the culture of this unique city.

Fantastic food tour with an engaging and informative guide! Loris answered all our questions and ensured that the vegetarian in our group enjoyed the food as well. Book this tour! You will love it!

Wonderful tour! Stefania and Ralph were great hosts, tour guides, and drivers. Stephania’s knowledge of the area is amazing. There are plenty of stops to see amazing views of the mountains, lakes, and towns. Would recommend.

We loved this introduction to Venice. Our guide made us laugh and kept us entertained. We learned so much about the original Venetians and how Venice has changed over the years. Everything we saw was neat and I highly recommend this tour. It is also nice that the gondola tour is set up for you and you don’t have to worry about that.

Loved the tour guides, especially Gratziana — she’s from Venice and it was great to hear her point of view. The morning tour of the Palace and Church were very interesting!

Trip was great! The islands were very cool and peaceful! For the price you can’t beat the expensive. However, the hardest part is knowing where to go to start the tour. Here is the step by step of what I did.

    1. Your online voucher isn’t your ticket. So I recommend going getting off the train at S. Lucia, walk out the front exit and to your left there is a shop to get your voucher in.
    2. Then once you get your voucher walk straight back out past the train station and continue walking straight.
    3. As you are walking straight keep looking down the allies to the right and you will see a KFC.
    4. Turn down that ally way walk towards the store and then turn left and you will see a sign that says green line and the places you go on the boat tour. There is also a worker to make sure you are in the correct spot.

I hope that helps some people!

Nico was great. There is a lot of walking in this tour so be prepared to cover a lot of ground but there is a lot of good information provided. We enjoyed this tour and the restaurant recommendations after.
