I sat at the bar and watched the bartender make Bellinis in batches (not individually made). - Hugo WLondon, UK451 contributionsWe were intending to have lunch at the well known Danieli Hotel, unfortuntely they were full and did not have a table available, so we settled for a few drinks at the Bar on the ground floor. I have stayed at the Danieli before, and I am always impressed with their elegant style and interior. The pub itself was narrow but had a good vibe about it with both tourists and locals there, music was good as well.

We paid a visit to watch a premier league game, plenty of tv's and we managed to join a group who had some free seats at their table.
There was also a Serie A game on so there was a choice of games for those who were interested.

The food was incredible and reasonably priced, a bottle of house wine was €19. The service was incredible, they brought out an extra wine table for us when it got cramped and all the staff were extra friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location was incredible and right next to the canal. Honestly a fabulous experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic restaurant in Venice. I would visit again for coffee.
When busy, it can be rather noisy in the sitting area so perhaps tables need to be spaced out a bit more. It does give cozy Italian weekend vibes. Service was good and everyone was friendly! This isn’t the type of place you can spend hours in but perfect for a quick drink and snack after walking round Rialto area. We had Aperol spritz, Valpolicella Ripasso and two very tasty cicchetti for €12. - SteviefullKidderminster, UK2,066 contributionsPopped in here for a quick drink mainly so we could say we had been in the oldest pub in Venice, as with most places in Venice the prices were pretty high compared to back home, but if you don't expect that then it must be your first day in Venice.
Very much an English/Irish style pub with sport on the TV and little cubicle seating areas. Good atmosphere and very busy when we went in early afternoon. With the temperatures over 30 degrees it even made a Magners cider taste good.
