We had brought tickets that included the roof top and terraces the time that we selected is only for the roof top tour, which you do first.
If you have booked audio guide, you get this inside the church so you may not be able to collect the device before going onto the roof tops. This became very complicated as they needed a passport which they hold for you and you get it back once you give back the audio guide device.
The details of the architecture are very impressive and you can get some lovely views of Milan.

Such a pleasure walking through the streets. The mornings are for cafes. Leonardo DiVinci left his mark in this city. The culture is all around....without snobbery!

The mural of The Last Supper (Il Cenacolo) by Leonardo da Vinci, as well as the painting by Giovanni Donato Montorlano - Crucifixion, were available for viewing in the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. Whether or not you are religious or a believer, there should be ample reason to appreciate these superb works of art. If you cannot relate in some way, do not go and afterwards berate the experience!

Be advised that advance reservations really are a must. Our tickets were personalized (by full name) and assigned a timed entry and departure. Our small group was allowed to enter the sealed room and had to depart when directed. You should live in the moment, take your pictures, and do not dally, linger or dwadle. We personally are not at all religious but appreciated the impact which The Last Supper painting, da Vinci and just the work's existence has had on our world...so let it be.

The castle is free to walk around. You will need several hours to see the whole thing including the museum which is only 5.00 euros. The museum was very well presented and so much to see. I was impressed as only 5.00 euros to get in. Well worth the money.

It is nice to walk by all the antiques' stands. Too crowded though, we went and strolled for a bit, walked to the park that is next to it, then to the church at the end of Navigli. We did not stay there for lunch because it was too noisy for us.

On the advice of another reviewer we visited this gem of a church on a quiet Sunday morning as we were staying nearby. What a find - entrance is free but donations are welcomed. On the morning of our visit guided tours were available (again free) led by members of a local club. We had a charming elderly man who pointed out various images from the frescoes we might not have noticed - the ‘signature’ dog of one of the painters, St Agathe with her breasts in a plate (weird!), the significance of the animals in the Noah’s Ark fresco and the niche where the nuns of this very closed order received communion without being seen. It was really a delightful moment.

Yes, the museum is primarily religious art, which can get boring quickly. But the museum has excellent notes, which makes at least many of the paintings one would walk by quickly more worth spending time with. And the building is excellent, and there's enough richness here that if you like art at least a little, it's worth the effort.

Absolutely beautiful. A must do in Milan. But make sure if you’re in a box (highly recommend) that you are in the front two seats especially if you’re in a box on the side of the theater. You won’t see anything if you’re not.

Very nice! Would recommend as it was very informative and well structured with time to appreciate the work. Liv tours was great, on time and our guide, he was very easy to understand. There is a longer version of the tour, but we were limited on time.

Brera chic district is my favorite district in Milano. Full of charm and elegance.
Lots of restautants and cafes for every taste. Beautiful lovely stores that offer clothes, vintage, cosmetics and other nice stuff.
Just walk throught the little streets and enjoy the atmosphere.
For culture lovers, of course, there are Accademia di Brera and Pinacoteca di Brera. Enjoy!

What an absolute stunning example of a post WWII Milanese mansion. A beautiful interior filled with art and furniture and a lush green exterior. A perfect way to spend a quiet hour or so in Milan.

Large park surrounding the Sforzesco Castle where I visited primarily to see Michelangelo’s works but the park was also so beautiful to walk around and relax.

Located at the opposite end of the park from the Castle, this area was vast, clean and pretty. There was an event being prepared for when we visited so we could not get up close but it was still worth a quick stop.
