- Nicholas TMelbourne, Australia387 contributionsAfter visiting the Castello it’s nice to stroll through the park also to sit at a bench and watch the world go by. - 🩶⚜️ 𝓝𝓪𝓽𝔂® ⚜️🩶Moscow, Russia180,074 contributionsHere we watched the courtyard, where Leonardo cared for his vineyard. The garden itself seemed not very well-kept, sometimes abandoned. The house and its interesting halls inside deserves more attention.Written August 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bagir BSamarkand, Uzbekistan568 contributionsWe came very early morning to Indro Montanelli Park, it was about around 6-30 am, the park was then very calm, and not many people. Everything was beautiful. Some people were jogging, and some were sitting and reading something. But the inspiration was spoilt after the scene of the people who probably came to Milan to earn from other countries to move to Milan, and due to homelessness, they found their habitation in this park. Some slept on the bench, but some of them amid long-lasting trees. Tell the truth you will be disappointed.
The entrance to the park is free. The perfect place was sitting bench toward the fountain of the building Palazzo Dugnani. Sitting here you may rid of your fatigue condition after a long walk. The perfect addition will be if you put in your headphones some classical like Mozart or Stradivari, etc. and will gaze to the PalazzoWritten October 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is one of the most popular places in Milan’s night life scene. In fact here you can find awesome restaurants and bars. Sometimes this piace is used for major tourist events. You can also spend time near the water and watch the ducks. Overall Darsena is a meeting place where many groups of friends can hang out together.Written November 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alessandro FMilan, Italy33,136 contributionsIn 1920 started the gravel extraction in agricultural lands in the western outskirts of Milan, years after years the excavation made five large quarries : Casati, Cabassi , Aurora , Ongari e Cerutti.
In 1960 no more gravel and sand was quarried so the area was abandoned. Many fishing associations took possession of the quarries and filled them with water to turn them into fish reserves until the 1995 when the municipality decided to transform this enormous area in a public park with its 135 hectares it is the second public park after the Bosco in cittĂ (forest in the city)Written October 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alexandra B219 contributionsI saw another TA reviewer had mentioned this park (which happened to be near our campsite on the outskirts of Milan) as good for trail biking; as a novice, I thought it'd be worth a go---it was perfect for my level. We enjoyed a pleasurable hour until my hubby got fed up (not interesting enough for him, but the park was much larger than he thought it would be); lots of other families were entering the park as we departing, with big picnics. It seems popular with runners, too.Written September 24, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
