View from the top was nice but a bit expensive. Can be difficult for elderly since there are still some stairs to climb to get to the very top. The top roof has very little flat space and requires standing on slanted roof panels to continue the tour. Can apparently see the Alps on a clear day but sadly it was too cloudy for me. Probably better to visit in the mid/late afternoon when morning haze has cleared.

As of June 2024, much of the central spire was under renovation and had a lot of scaffolding up. Didn't change the experience much, but did make it a little less photogenic.

Inside the cathedral is magnificent (and free to access most of it). A must-see on your trip to Milan.

Lift ticket also includes admission to the Duomo Museum, which was nice but not a must-see.

I admit, it took determination to figure out how to book our tickets but man oh man, it was worth it! Seeing “The Last Supper” was emotionally overwhelming. This was an incredible experience neither my husband or I will ever forget. The church, too, is stunning. Simple. Stunningly beautiful.

The castle is free to walk around. You will need several hours to see the whole thing including the museum which is only 5.00 euros. The museum was very well presented and so much to see. I was impressed as only 5.00 euros to get in. Well worth the money.

On the advice of another reviewer we visited this gem of a church on a quiet Sunday morning as we were staying nearby. What a find - entrance is free but donations are welcomed. On the morning of our visit guided tours were available (again free) led by members of a local club. We had a charming elderly man who pointed out various images from the frescoes we might not have noticed - the ‘signature’ dog of one of the painters, St Agathe with her breasts in a plate (weird!), the significance of the animals in the Noah’s Ark fresco and the niche where the nuns of this very closed order received communion without being seen. It was really a delightful moment.

A one-off experience by any standards. This is a vast area of tombstones and monuments to the 'great-and-good' of Milan over the years. An astonishing assemblage of eclectic and extraordinary small buildings and more modest tombs. Some of them are beautiful, others are weird. Not the most comfortable place to visit, perhaps, but definitely one to see.

Very nice! Would recommend as it was very informative and well structured with time to appreciate the work. Liv tours was great, on time and our guide, he was very easy to understand. There is a longer version of the tour, but we were limited on time.

It is nice to walk by all the antiques' stands. Too crowded though, we went and strolled for a bit, walked to the park that is next to it, then to the church at the end of Navigli. We did not stay there for lunch because it was too noisy for us.

It is the happening area. Lots of great outside cafes. Also lots of great shops. The architecture is also remarkable. Be sure you start it with a La Scala visit.

Stunning yet unassuming building with some hidden gems. It looks like an old church - but you don't realise how old until you explore the details. The gold-leaf covered ceiling dates to the 5th century. There are several well-preserved relics on display.

Iconic stadium . Watched Ac Milan vs Genoa and it was a great game with an outstanding atmosphere. Toilets were easily accessible and drink(beer) was always ready to be purchased. Highly recommended!

This is not your normal church and it’s really interesting to see. There’s an almost irreverent and fun element to the church choir. See for yourself!

I did it in 2004 and then I discovered a parallel world made of mental images. Images that live in our own brains that have not difference with the images processed by our own eyes. You'll discover how an impairment could become a resource. Trust me, you'll be disappointed. And you'll give a great help to visual impairment community!
