Such a pleasure walking through the streets. The mornings are for cafes. Leonardo DiVinci left his mark in this city. The culture is all around....without snobbery!

    Mercato sabato, via Fauché

A very good market, don’t bother going on any other day but Saturday. Definitely haggle on price, especially shoes and handbags. The mountain of clothes to rummage through is well worth it. There are some hidden gems if you are prepared to look. Very little high fashion but fun

Although mainly for window shopping, at least for regular people, this area of Milan is not to be missed, since it's one of the city's trademarks.

A fantastic art space featuring emerging artists from Italy and around the globe. Hip, creative, and a keen eye for what is trending in the art world. A great place to find a new piece of art, or just see what is happening with contemporary artists in this welcoming and friendly space where art is appreciated and approachable..

I expected to see Italian contemporary artists the gallery is known for (Turi Simeti, Alberto Biasi) and found myself in a exhibit on five artists from Korean modernism art. Very beautiful installation of mesmerising works with paper and abstract paintings and the staff was quick to provide me with more information. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful outdoor dining experience. Lots of energy and the staff is attentive. It’s hidden away off the main drag and nestled next to the store. Food is tasty and consistent.

Rather than going to a further out outlet shopping, we decided to wander around this close city location. The variety of shops was ok. I liked most of this shopping center that it was the park around this area.
It was not so busy on Sunday.
We still ended up buying something for my wife.
I suggest taking a walk outside also.
Not a bad place at all.

Living few metres from Deodato Art Gallery, I have always loved their displays.

The kind, gentle and expert staff (Bea, Bea and Marzia overall) are able to thrill visitors describing the story behind each artwork displayed, from Koons to Warhol, Hirst, Haring, Tomoko, Brainwash, Britto and some interesting Italian names among which Lodola, Vullo and Mr.Savethewall.

And more important, you can start a collection without the necessity to sell your house or squander your savings... So go there and enjoy a comfortable immersion in contemporary art.

Arhitecture and Christams decorations (2022) at the centre of town were fabulous, better than in UK, Germany, never seen anything like this.

Remember: all shops are closed during Christmas, if you are in hired apartment - there is nowhere to get food from; you can eat only in some Asian caffes somewhere at the outskirts of town. All restaurants, except 2 or 3 in the centre of town, are closed. Huge queues. There is not much to eat at Christmas food market.

Dont visit Milan during Christmas Eve & Boxing day otherwise you will starve. At least you pay for all inclusive hotel if such hotel exists in Milan and eat there. Or come before Chritmas Eve & Boxing day and stack yourself with food.
Be aware of problems at the late night time. Metro worked only until 22.00 and we had to walk home 1.5 hours. Police warned us to keep away from representatives of some nationalities which walk in groups of three. Not safe in very late time. Besides this experience was brilliant.

Long avenue market. Half of it foods, fruits, vegetables, dry food, fish, cheese, meat. The other half clothes, dishes, accessorizes.
If you love markets, go there, otherwise, nothing special.

If you are not looking for some old coins, stamps and/or antiques, don't go.
Or you can just pass by if you are in the area.

What more to say as it is the fashion capital of the world. You have money you can buy anything. You do not have money, seeing and enjoying itself is a pleasure. You can walk and walk it is Branded shops every where. Ladies will enjoy the most. Costly and cheap all are available. As this is the season for Expo 2015, many new things also can be seen.

In a city known for fashion. Corso Venezia is part of the city's Quadrilatero della moda shopping district.

We found elegant buildings and upmarket brands with high prices.

The street runs all the way to Corso Buenos Aires which is also known for its shopping.
