What travelers are saying
- RachelGlasgow, UK522 contributionsTook a day trip to San Marino from Rimini (Very easy to do bus takes you right into old town and back to Rimini central station ) The old centre is magical we spent hours wondering around. Lot's of great food and coffee stops also lots of gorgeous little shops where we found the prices reasonable. A walk to the far off tower is a must the views along the way are spectacular! A glorious day spent in San Marino with the hope to return!Written April 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Traveller145 contributionsI enjoyed my short walk around this fort. The ticket was 6 euro and can be bought at the entrance. The views are beautiful and since I went off season I was the only person there for some time - lovely experienceWritten February 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- FedeThe Hague, The Netherlands47 contributionsGreat stop definately worth it. The enclave has always fascinated me and I must say the country is underrated because it's very nice. From the top of the nation you have an infinate view off the shoreline of Rimini. The three castles are also very nice and offer stunning views.Written August 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- alehope30121 contributionsThe Mount Titan is the main symbol of the Republic of San Marino. It is registered as Unesco World heritage site combined with the historic centre of San Marino (the city).
According to tradition, it was San Marino that founded a small community of Christians right on Mount Titano.
At the top there are the towers, a walkaway with a wonderful view.Written August 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - keswalnut1Cork, Ireland177 contributionsUnfortunately the weather was poor and foggy when I visited, however this did not ruin what was a very beautiful historic plaza.Written December 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

It is a simple design compared to many of the ornate basilicas in Europe. Large in size.
Interior was well appointed and worth a visit and a short respite before tackling the uphill streets to follow.Written September 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HelenK13Thatcham19 contributionsInteresting overview of our ability to inflict pain and suffering on each other.

Wish it had been a little lighter as would have easier to see but worth a visit.Written July 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - R K LSeattle, WA2,301 contributionsEven though the Republic of San Marino is completely surrounded by Italy, there is no tourist visa required to enter. But for only five euro, the Tourism Office will apply a colorful stamp to your passport and affix an official date. This makes a perfect souvenir.Written June 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
