Has some restaurants, cinema, and some stores (H&M, carpisa, feltrinelli) - very nice but expected more.

Fascinating and very good value. A nice restaurant and shop too.
The stacks of cheeses maturing is a sight to behold.

Stopped in during a recent day trip to Parma. Shopfront wasn’t prominent and was more of a hole in the wall. But the mint with chocolate chips was delicious gelato. It wasn’t as creamy at the Emilia gelato I tried shortly after, but it was well worth a try!

The first impact in Loppis is impressive! It heppend by chance to jump into Loppis, and I found more than a fly market, I found an art gallery downstairs and a design vintage shop upstairs.
It's look like a huge Berlin Loft, full of wonderful stuff, some couriosity like a propeller fighter plane, or a super design lamp, old chairs, shabby table and plantly of small vintage jewelry and boxes... I thought: I'm in Parma?! Eleonora and Christian, the owners, are very kind, they offer me a swedish coffe and answer kindly to all my questions... every piece has a story and they are there to tell you about it. What else? I bought an old navy lamp for my girlfriend, she was very happy for the present! The place is near to the bounderies of the old city "oltretorrente" and you can reach the place easily by bycicle. It worth a trip if you travel to parma, is something different!

The bike tour through Parma including visiting the factory and some tasting were a very good experience. The tour guide knows a lot and is enthousiastic in his stories. We had a great morning exploring Parma and its local products.

Old fashioned hat shop in downtown Parma. The gentleman was very helpful - had quite a few different sizes which is different from our experiences in other towns, such as Cortona and Montepulciano. The shop also had some lovely, formal ladies' hats suitable for the Kentucky Derby, or some other formal occasion. The shop keeper was very gracious, too.
