What travelers are saying
- Pauly-101Glasgow, UK488 contributionsVisited the stadium for the Depeche Mode gig and it was one of the best concerts we’ve ever been to. It took a long time to get into the stadium due to heightened security but once inside everything was grand.
The view and acoustics were top notch and the show was excellent from start to finish. Wasn’t too difficult to get a bus back to the city centre afterwards either. What a night!Written September 8, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - themadprampusherChester, UK146 contributionsIf you are visiting Bologna with children this is a good place to take them when they have had enough of museums, churches etc. There are two large indoor pools for proper swimming and a round outdoor pool (not too small, maybe 15 metres diameter) for kids, fairly shallow. There are loungers available for hire; tables and chairs with umbrellas are free. There is a pleasant garden area, a kiosk selling drinks and ice creams and you can play ping pong or table football. It is open 7 days a week, hours and prices vary, full details are on their website. They sell costumes, goggles etc at reception, most staff speak at least some English. The wearing of swimming caps is compulsory in the pool for anyone with hair. You can easily spend a few hours here, our daughter loved coming here to swim and play. From the centre of Bologna take bus number 13 from the corner of Via Lame and Marconi street towards Borgo Panigale, get off at Borgo Panigale (3 stops down after Borgo Panigale train station) and then it is about 10 minute walk.Written June 5, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ben B3 contributionsIn our annual friend-weekend-trip we did an Escape Room (Grandpa's Will) at Secret Zone in Bologna. Nicely and conveniently situated in the center of Bologna.
The Escape Room we did had multiple levels to go through with some nice surprises but also some great deviations to distract you from the goal. We just about escaped in time.Written October 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - weisdany1 contributionIt was very great! It was our first escape room and it was so much fun! The room had great effects :)
We choose to make the mystery in english and the staff which worled there was very kind and funny
I can only recommend to do this escape room especially when it‘s to hot outside to do something else!Written July 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - 10023momNew York City, NY93 contributionsWe're Escape Room aficionados and have done them in a variety of cities around the world. We really enjoyed Adventure Rooms Bologna. So far we've done two of the escape rooms offered by Adventure Rooms (Escape from the Mental Clinic and Mafia Game) and both were excellent. We did them in English given that a couple people in our group didn't speak Italian. The games were challenging yet doable. The woman who ran the games was terrific...very friendly, spoke excellent English, and overall was committed to making sure we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Adventure Rooms Bologna!Written June 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cynthia HForli, Italy76 contributionsIt is a very interesting game that you can do with a group of friends to get to know each other or for a group of employees for team building! a lot of fun, a lot of mind games, and above all a very different activity that you can do in Bologna! Definitely recommend it!Written November 20, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- lizzietwink13Newcastle Upon Tyne8 contributionsThis is a little way out of the centre but didn't cost too much in a taxi (about 10 euro from the centre, may have less at other times as it was a bank holiday). It would not take long to drive from the centre. We are really pleased we went as it was a great escape game.
We have done a couple before and this one was the one we have enjoyed the most I think. There were LOTS of boxes, padlocks and puzzles, small and hard puzzles to solve and it kept 2 adults, a 17 year old and a 19 year old interested for the whole time.
The people running it were LOVELY, and tried very hard to communicate with us in English, which they did well between them. We did not finish in time and as there was no one booked after us they were very kind and reset the clock to allow us to finish.
There are toilet facilities and the room is air conditioned with a remote so you can control it yourself.
We really enjoyed this and it was good to do something that interested everyone and was a talking point afterwards.Written August 15, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - lpk325Quezon City, Philippines1,566 contributionsI had the pleasure of being granted access to the Cineteca which houses the largest collection of music-related memorabilia and materials in the world. Its typically open to the public but was closed when I was in Bologna so this was a special arrangement. The place is so worth to visit especially if you are a lover of cinema. Classic movies that have been restored by Ritrovata are available as well as publications dating back nearly a century to the start of cinema. Original posters, art sheets, storyboards, photo stills, hand-written notes are available to researchers. They even boast of a wide selection of movie related video games that can be played inside the Cineteca. This is perfect for cinema enthusiasts with its rich history and imagery all available at your finger tips.Written September 13, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Viridiana2012Bologna, Italy715 contributionsPity they don't have more films in original language but just on some Mondays, when the cinema gets extra full and you risk not to be able to get in! It should give them a hint that they need to show more original language movies... i didn't give give stars for this reason: please less dubbed films 😄there is also a nice cafe!Written May 4, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
