What travelers are saying
- AnassZurich, Switzerland725 contributionsThe beach is easily to reach (by car). From the parking towards the beach you will pass a small village. Approximately 15-20 minutes walk.
It is an empty and wild beach.
totally to recommend, if you want to be away from the crowd.Written September 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is not a monument for which one arrives in Pesaro from afar. But if you are in Pesaro it is a kind of must.Written June 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mishelle L19 contributionsFiorenzuola di Focara is located a few km from Gabicce Mare. (It's part of the province of Pesaro and Urbino.)
To the beach leads small road which is surrounded by the nature. In this time you have to go on walk, because the road for a car is closed for reconstruction.
There are no bars, umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach, so you need to leave equipped. It is impossible to stay there without water, food and some parasol.
This beautiful view stands for it. 😊Written July 20, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We thought we would drop by and see a couple of motorcycles but instead we found ourselves in the midst of motorcycle and Pesaro history. I think we were there for almost two hours and much of that time was essentially a private, guided tour from the person working there. He was so knowledgeable and generous and had so many stories about the motorcycles and his experience and the relationship of Benelli to Pesaro. It is well worth a visit and we will be going back next time we are there!!Written September 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - italian_in_NYAustin, TX217 contributionsHave visited every summer with kids and guests in the last 4 years.
Open in the afternoon from 4 to 7, it's a great way to cool off the summer heat after a day at the beach.
Used as a professional high school for 9 months a year, the gardens tour are given by nice school students (might be challenging if you need them in English).
Kids always have a blast with the water games and spend over half hour after the tour in the "theatre" playig hide and seek.
Plenty of parking, bring a change of clothes of you want to experience all the water games.Written July 11, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is breathtaking and a work of art. I believe it is privately owned so it is not a destination for a tour.Written July 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard B4 contributionsThe villa, barely outside urban Pesaro in Parco San Bartolo, is accessible only at 4 pm on Thursdays with prior appointment via the approved guide service. Check on line, email response is prompt. For the price of admission they will bus you in from Pesaro as well, whereas it is very difficult to park near the villa without blocking traffic. Our guide was a professional art historian who worked with a passion -- consider planning your itinerary around this visit. The complicated access is due to private ownership of the villa and lack of parking. With transportation included the price is reasonable. Tour lasted about 2 hours, but included garden walking, not just stuffy museum rooms.Written September 23, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KatrinaMoliniCorciano, Italy7,512 contributionsThis museum was a pleasant stop on our visit of Pesaro as a part of the museums included in our ticket for the museum of Rossini. There are different sorts of artworks in the collection: from paintings to ceramics. Don’t forget to step into the courtyard to see the wall of books.Written October 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laureenofscottsFort Augustus, UK95 contributionsPesaro is the city where Goacchino Rossini was born. I believe that it is in 2019 that this city became the European Union city of Music. In 2015 the city has been declared by the Unesco "city of creativity". On this square you will find several cafes/restaurants and interesting buildings like the Post Office [was a convent built between the 13h and 15th century], the Museum of Rossini and the "Palazzo Ducale" and, in the middle a superb fountain called "la Pupilla di Pesaro". The Palace was built in the 16th century. When eating or drinking you can admire this square and shot beautiful pictures.Written September 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Globetrotter677Vienna, Austria98 contributionsA bit strange to rate this as a tourist attraction. It's a place of worship and would be good to see other tourists treat it with respect. Plexiglass panels give a view to ancient frescoes underneath.Written August 20, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnnaVadso, Norway23 contributionsVery interresting and informative museum about the great composer Rossini. Much info about his life and music and also musical exerpts of his many operas. - KatrinaMoliniCorciano, Italy7,512 contributionsHonestly we found this museum a bit underwhelming after coming from The Museum of Rossini, but I can’t give it less than four stars because it’s very special just for the fact that the Maestro was born here and you can see the interior of the place he lived in and, of course, the original piano that he used in his early years. Also, the view from the upper floor is lovely and there are some interesting portraits of the composer. Quite a quick visit but since it was included in our ticket for the museum of Rossini, it was worth popping in.Written October 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Las BuganvillasCartagena, Colombia868 contributionsThe theatre celebrates its year 200 years, it was opened for performance of Rossini´s "La Gazza Ladra". It has performances throughout the yea, but its international fame is derives from being a home to the celebrates Rossini Festival which takes place every August. As Rossini composed 39 operas, and few are given on teh world stage with frequency, the theatre draws audiences form all over the world to hear rarely performed works, always with top class singers, and frequently excellent productions too.Written August 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
