- Merryn JTintagel, UK3 contributionsIt is a magical place, we arrived at 8pm had to jump.in the warm sea. There was a yoga class on the rocks. We loved the peace and tranquility compared to civitanova where we were staying. However it is probably very busy during peak periods and parking would be hard. - memvMtyMonterrey, Mexico282 contributionsWe went during the summer, so it was packed with people, most of them locals or national tourists. It is a small beach, but is very beautiful. The water is cristal clear. The sand is a bit rocky so I recommend you wear water shoes.Written March 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trippi65Lugano, Switzerland92 contributionsit is our favorite beach - wild - long and no umbrella renting. the way down and up is challenging - the less you carry - the better it is - good shoes are recommended although there are people with flip flops
very disappointing the restaurant - not for the food which is acceptable- but for all the plastics they started to use - awful! a year ago they still served in ceramic plates - now just one way plastic - a big step backwards what a pity and what a shame.
Fun is putting on the body the loam which you find at the end on the left of the beach watching the water (called also il trave)
do not stay too long on that side as sometimes peaces of mountain fall down ...Written July 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Water is cristaline (during high season only in the mornings before the sea gets busy); snorkeling offers a nice view of thr under water world with fish, mussels, plants, molusques, etc. Rent a kanue or do some stan-up paddling texploring the area.
For folks looking to find non serviced area, there is ample free beach area.

This one was the closesed clean and quiet beach. We did take the front Line VIP area. It is fenced in so your dog can walk around freely. We had a wooden suncover so always shade. They have showers for dogs, a play area and the dogs can swim free too. When you are hungry or thursty there is enough choice. Overall price/Quality is ok for us. We Will come back. Oh fyi it is a pebbled beach.Written July 27, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ValerioDMUdine, Italy732 contributionsVery special beach with small gravel and white stones where whater is clean and transparent.
You can reach it only on foot in 25/30 minutes or (suggested) by bus (1,00 euro) from Sirolo.
If you get an umbrella with a deckchair you can use a private shuttle service.
From this beach you can easily reach the beach of black stones (spiaggia dei sassi neri) towards North that is also amazing and beach Urbani and it's cave.
Be aware there could be some jellyfishes (carybdea, ryzostoma plumo) so use a sub-mask or goggles.Written August 31, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This Conero Riviera beach was one of the highlights of our time in the Marche area.
Getting there was a little tricky. It is a bit of a trek down to the beach and a steep climb back up but it was worth it. It was also difficult to find the start of the path. There were no clear signs in the Numana town centre to point us in the right direction and we ended up taking a long, roundabout way to Spiaggia dei Frate via the port. If you have the time, this was a very nice walk but if you just want to hit the beach, there is a much more direct way.
Starting from the town hall, head to the Piazza Nuova lookout (the view from here is panoramic). Look for the Hotel Eden Gigli’s large white gate which will be on your left. Just past the gate is a steep, white, stony path leading straight down to the beach. At one point, it splits. Either way will get you there but the path to your right is less slippery and a bit easier I think. It was certainly easier coming up.
We just loved this beach. The water was clear and calm but the real wow factor are the sheer, white cliffs that are the backdrop to the beach.
The ‘sand’ consists of small, flat, smooth pebbles and whilst this is not much use for sand-castles, it was surprisingly easy to walk on in bare feet and was comfortable enough to sit on with a towel.
As with most Italian beaches, there is the somewhat confusing division where part of the beach is public and is free, and part is private beach club where you fork out $$ for umbrellas and lounges. Spiaggia dei Frate has two free stretches at either end. In between the beach is owned by the Hotel Eden Gigli (non-guests can pay to use it also).
We had heard that the free beach also required reservations, via an ibeach app. However no-one was checking or enforcing this when we arrived. Perhaps this was because we were there mid week in May when it was very quiet? Or perhaps this was a covid rule and no longer applies? In any case we wandered down, found a spot at the far end near the cliffs and enjoyed swimming and sun-baking for some time.
A beachside tavern and token-operated toilets and showers are clustered at one end of the beach.Written August 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - moritz_mucMunich, Germany6 contributionsVisiting Bagni 77 since several years and it´s definitely the best beach in Senigallia. - Shelly P.Houston, TX6 contributionsThe staff was very friendly and helpful. After a jellyfish sting they immediately brought a cream and offered hot water. They also wear masks and have hand sanitizer available. The chairs and umbrellas are good and the small selection of hot food and snacks is perfect for an after-swim snack.Written July 17, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water is very blue, and the weather was great.
As a Canadian, I felt that the water was more than warm enough to swim in during late May, but apparently Italians beg to differ, because the umbrellas were not yet set up when I was there lolWritten December 10, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They were yealing for us and told us the beach is full however it weren't. We asked in English what is going on. But they do not speak English. Strongly do not recomend to visit this beach!!!Written June 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- gillandderek44Teramo, Italy293 contributionsChose this Lido from the look of it from the street. It was very good at what it is although I believe you can get the same just about anywhere along the Adriatic coast. Becasue of it's location you don't really benefit from any of the dramatic scenery that other beaches offer in Conero area. The restaurant is set back so again you don't benefit from a real 'sea view' the cafe upstairs actually has the best views, although it is a self service style cafe. Perfectly good, don't get me wrong, but if I return to the area I would want to try and take in the whole experience a little more. One BIG benefit however from the lcoaiton was the prevailing wind and therefore sea breeze. In some fo the more beautiful bays it is stiflingly hot. The bathroom too was reasonable compared to some where you have to use the public loo.Written July 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
