So cool, we got here as soon as it opened after the religious break, and it was so cool. We were able to get in there before it got super crowded, long line behind us, but it was still pretty cool.

It's even better in person. I couldn't believe how beautiful and on such a grand scale. Don't forget to throw a coin in the fountain.

This is a neighborhood where you will want to spend some time. It is often cited as one's favorite neighborhood in Rome because it is so attractive and historic. Lots of places to eat here, drink here, have a cup of coffee and lots of great architecture. Look for a hotel here.

Incredible experience. I chose to visit Galleria Borghese out of curiosity and oh boy how happy I am to have done it! The gallery is not big, but it is overwhelmingly gorgeous, the sculptures, the paintings, the walls, ceilings, the floor.... I found myself getting emotional from all this beauty! You are allowed to visit the gallery for two hours - please do not rush and use them to the max, it is really worth it. I think it is my favorite attraction in Rome.

Walking tour of Rome takes one to marvellous places and one of them was piazza Novono. Alot of souveniour shops , the fountains were undergoing renovation but one can admire their beauty from afar.

Incredibly beautiful church that must be visited. This was also especially special for my wife as she loves everything Bernini, and this is where he is buried. We were only surprised by how nondescript his grave marking was, but I suppose the splendor of the entire church is there for him.

We could have stayed all day just enjoying the art that surrounds you with every step.

We bought the combined Colloseum and Palatine Hill ticket and were restricted to viewing the Roman forum and ruins from the top. The views were breathtaking and worthwhile the visit. However not much else to do here.

If you have the combined ticket and you have spare time then worth your while taking the stairs to the top, but it’s not a “must-see” attraction.

This place is awesome and that is my 2nd visit. Had just come from Edinburgh castle which is grand, but here you get to see way more of most of the castel. It is a must to visit here, you will not be disappointed. Queues are usually pretty good and it is not overly expensive.

You can walk around and on the top of the monument for free, and also get to the top to get some nice views of the city. The monument is between Colosseum
And Pantheon so we can combine your visit with these attractions. They will
Not let you past the fence if you have food (eating). My kids were eating gelato and were not allowed in (even though the walk was all outside), keep this in mind.

We visited Galleria Colonna with my disabled mother and her sister on 28.12.2024 and our experience was the best. My mother, who uses a walker, was able to borrow a wheelchair from the most friendly staff at their suggestion. Galleria Colonna is absolutely stunning and in one of the rooms there was a pianist playing the grand piano. We enjoyed the art collection and the magnificent palace immensely. We received assistance with the wheelchair several times and the service was wonderfully helpful and the natural smiles of the staff made our group feel very welcome.

    Our warmest recommendation to everyone.

Beautiful church built in the Baroque style between 1626-1650 and dedicated to Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits (Society of Jesus). The Jesuits led the way in the Counter-Reformation and have always been all about education and missionary work. The flagship church of the Jesuits is the nearby Church of the Gesu completed in the late 1500s. The highlight of the church is the impressive ceiling fresco by Andrea Pozzo completed in 1685 celebrating the work of Saint Ignatius and the Society of Jesus throughout the world. It is free to enter the church and is certainly worth having a quick look if you are in the area visiting the Pantheon or the Trevi Fountain as it is located between these must-see sights.

Starting with the Holy Door on the right as you face the Basilica this is an absolutely amazing Basilica, but then all four of the major Basilicas are amazing. The altar is jaw droppingly beautiful. In the middle, downstairs is a beautiful statue of St. John the Baptist. Everything in this Basilica is stunning from the ceiling to the floor and everything in between. There are wonderful paintings, sculptures and marble throughout. This Basilica is an easy, perhaps 5–8-minute walk from the San Giovanni subway stop. This is definitely worth a visit.
