It was a long day but interesting. Our tour guide and bus driver were very good. A young woman was our tour guide...can't remember her name. It was an interesting trip. It is a full day though. My only negative was dinner in Pompeii. Don't use the restaurant the tour company will stop at. Go out on your own and eat. It was not good.

The tour and stops are amazing! It's a wonderful way to see Tuscany in one day. The coach bus is comfortable, the guide was absolutely amazing, and the stops were plentiful to use restrooms and buy coffee, food, olive oil, vinegars, pasta and lots of chocolates. The towns we stopped at were beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The lunch at winery was delicious, learned about the wines and olive oil that are produced onsite. It is a trip I recommend to anyone going to Rome and wants a day trip to Tuscany, you can't get a better experience.

It’s a long & tiring day but well worth it!
Our tour guide was Rob & he was brilliant. Very knowledgable, friendly & funny!
The long (3hr) coach ride was made interesting due to Rob telling us stories, history etc of the regions as we passed through.
The hike up Mt Vesuvius is an easy hike if you are relatively fit, and it’s well worth the hike! Afterwards we were taken back down the mountain to a restaurant for a well earned lunch. We then headed off to Pompeii for a guided tour, our guide for this was Willie, funny, knowledgeable & friendly.
It was a very long, tiring day, but definitely worth it! I would 100% recommend this tour to anybody who wants to see Mt Vesuvius & Pompeii up close.

Above expectations. Ludovica our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable and was always concerned if we were having a good time or if we had any questions. Lunch was very good at a nice restaurant with excellent service and the best pizza I've had in Italy in a long time. All transportation was very smooth, easy, and comfortable.

We are not usually tour people but realized we needed a tour to see everything we wanted to in a day. Our group was small (14) and our tour guide, Roberta was tireless! She was so full of knowledge and energy. The rest of us were exhausted by the end of the day! It was so nice to have all of our entrance tickets managed by someone who knows .

Great day on the island. We did 5 snorkel spots. The scenery was amazing. The captain and guide were great. Lots of history explained. Only negative would be that it would’ve been nice to find a public bathroom for us before getting in the bus.

Nida was a great tour guide. Patient, friendly. She was an absolute fount of knowledge and we appreciated her tip to read the “She Wolf” series by Eloise Harper for greater understanding of life in Pompeii.

Antonio was wonderful! We booked this tour not knowing exactly what to expect, but excited at the prospect of being able to go to Florence and see parts of Tuscany on a day tour. It was that and more. Antonio was informative and passed on all the knowledge I was looking for and was very easy to follow along with. We had plenty of time to take pictures and little breaks to enjoy both cities. The winery was a beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the Chianti region. The tour itself was very organized and we felt well taken care of. In addition, the pacing of the tour was comfortable, when possible we discussed things in the shade, and the air conditioned ride was wonderful.

10/10 experience from all aspects, well worn the value we spent, and Antonio himself was just the most pleasant and relatable. Book it you won’t be disappointed.

It was a pleasure seeing some of the most beautiful sights we've ever seen while learning so much from a true local of the area. Our tour guide, Giuseppe, was a delight. So much history while also giving us free time to explore the areas. Thank you for a great experience!

I have been on the Amalfi Coast/Pompeii Tour twice; once in 2019 with my husband and now in 2024 with my daughter. It is a wonderful tour that I highly recommend. The tour guides on the bus as well as at Pompeii were friendly, fun, and provided lots of information. The views are wonderful and the lunch, views, and shopping at Positano were divine. Go and enjoy!

    Well organised trip
    Pompei was excellent
I emailed about various details and found Grayline to be very helpful.

I think though that you should mention you are not allowed to eat on the bus- with an early start this information would have been useful.

We had a great time. It is a long bus ride. About 2.5 hours to Pompeii. Then 90 minutes there. I wish I would have planned a little better because we were so rushed we only saw about half. Then 30 minutes to Naples. A couple hours there was enough time to eat and take a few pictures then 3 hours back to Rome. 7am-7pm. Internet didn’t work on bus. But Nico (the guide) was very friendly. Bus was comfortable. A/C worked well. I would do it again.

The trip was great, the guide Eduardo was superb, his knowledge and charisma couldn't be better, he kept everyone on the bus amused with with his asides and general " mateyness" which made a great day
