Attended the Roma v Udinese on Sunday night game. Pre booked tickets a few days earlier for seats in Sud lateral stand, which neighbours the flag waving, full voiced Roma fans in the Sud stands.
Great, if distant view of the game which was almost secondary to the powerful and continual singing from the fans, orchestrated by the PA.
Points for visiting fans. Nearest Metro is the A line stop for the Vatican and then a good half hour walk. Food stalls available nearer the stadium. One specialised in cold chips ( but would heat them on request!). Take your ticket and ID as you will be checked, bag searched and frisked prior to entry. Food and drink inside very reasonably priced but expect long queues.
Toilets defy logic: one narrow entrance to enter male (turn left) and female (turn left). That was one issue contributing to congestion but to compound matters, to exit the toilets you return down the same narrow corridor! Expect close physical contact with accompanying pushing and shoving.
Atmosphere generated by the swaying, singing crowd was one of the best we have experienced attending a game. Just go prepared for security checks, long queues and a decent walk to and from the ground.

A very nice minigolf course in a park. The minigolf course is excellent and approved by the World Minigolf Federation. Access to a bar (toasts, panninis, coffee, sodas, water and so on) and toilets. A very good playground for children in the area. Farms with different animals nearby - you are on the countryside in Rome.

I thought there would be loads of swimming pools in such a hot city but my initial research came up with 3 options and all had catches - too expensive, dirty water etc..

We landed on Piscina delle Rose (blue metro line EUR Palasport circa 18mins from termini) and then used google maps directions to get from metro to the club (circa 5mins). The staff spoke good English and it cost 8 euros per person for 1.5 hours (+5 euros if you wanted a sun lounger).

Please note you should purchase a small lock for the locker room and a swimming hat to save some cash. There is a small pool bar with cold drinks including beers plus pizzas etc..open till 7pm weekdays and later on weekends.

The water was clear. The pool had multiple lifeguards. The pool is Olympic size - massive. With lot's of lane swimming for swimming club members and also a big area for general swim play.

Yes it is a bit expensive but if you enjoy time by the pool in hot conditions I would recommend.

I had never done an escape room before and I'm so glad I started with this one. It started on time, our guide was excellent, it was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly.

Buy a salad or sandwich at te Coop around the block and just sit here to enjoy a book and the quiet. In the middle of Rome, a great place to in the shadow, with little people there. Of course with a little waterfountain for cold water.

This is a beautiful place TO VISIT, but I would DISSUADE anyone to think of swimming here on a regular basis. It is almost as if they don’t want people to swim here. The secretarial staff is very slow and impolite. The bar workers are mean. Swimmers are not allowed to use fins or flippers after a certain time. It is EXPENSIVE and closed on Sundays and all of August with very limited swim times. No one smiles. Toxic environment. Think thrice before subscribing here!

Coolest place for a fun experience with your friends or family!!! The rooms are immersive in every detail, we did the Ultimatum room where you'll get to feel like a real detective solving cases. The staff is great and will guide you through your journey.
    Highly recommend

I always look for escape rooms when I'm traveling. It's a good way to take a break from crowded tourist attractions. After confirming that it was possible to play the game in English, I booked the Frankenstein Jr. room with my family. We had a great time! There was so much care and attention put into this room from set work to puzzles to story, and it punches above its weight class thanks to a very skilled and diligent game master. Our game master both ran the room and acted as Igor, providing many comedic moments and helping when a few puzzles didn't _quite_ work like they were supposed to.

Overall, I was really impressed with Frankenstein Jr. and glad that we took the time to do it.

(In case you missed the reference - we did - the escape room is themed after the movie Young Frankenstein, whose title was translated into Italian as "Frankenstein Jr.")
