A great experience that if in Rome you have to do. I didn’t book any tours, etc. and felt that walking around the outside was enough to take it all in. The queues are big so book before you come to Rome and chose the skip the line tickets. Overall, a great experience that is ticked off for me.

The doors of the Pantheon alone are absolutely incredible to see. Going in June the crowds were insane but still worth seeing the ancient beauty of Roman architecture.

Trevi Fountain captivates with its grandeur. A masterpiece of Baroque art, it enchants with its mythological motifs and cascading waters. A must-see in Rome!

I really enjoyed this church. It was historically important and held many wonderful pieces of art. It's also quite large and takes a few hours to fully see.

Going back in time and with some nice views, a lot of historical moments and nice walks like you were going back to the roman times.

We stayed in Trastevere for 3 nights and loved it. The graffiti is a bit hard to get used to but does not seem to reflect the safety of the area. The streets come to life in the evening with restaurants and stores. It's lovely to walk about and enjoy the vibrance. We specifically stayed on this side of the town for the first 3 nights of our visit to Rome in order to walk to everything from this side.

The Roman Forum was one of the most significant centers of ancient Roman life. As a center of government, it existed for centuries, taking in almost everything of political life. It hosted debates, criminal trials and acted as a central bank. It's interesting to walk around, the Forum is in the middle of Rome.

This is a stunning monument dominating the skyline. Great views of it from Villa Borghese but see it close up when going to the colosseum

The Villa Borghese was splendid ! Me and my friends went there a few times during our holidays, to relax, read a book on a bench drained by the sun and we even used the miniboats on the lake which was a really fun and relaxed activity.
However, among all of those great things, we unfortunalety havn't been able to visit the Gallery Borghese ! There was too many people and we should have booked the visit weeks ago. So, if you want an advice : don't hesiate to book your tickets in advance !

The oldest and highest ranking of the four major papal basilicas, the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran serves as the seat of the bishop of Rome, the Pope, and is one of the Seven Pilgrim Churches of Rome. The Loggia delle Benedizioni forms an integral part of the basilica. Inside the Basilica you can admire the beautiful high altar, ciborium, decorative ceiling, chapels, frescoes and mant statues of saints. A truly worthwhile experience.

better on rainy days, less crowded and you just have to take an umbrella or a raincoat with you. might not be the ideal weather for everyone but if u like rainy and foggy weather like me it’s a lot better experience so don’t despair if your trip ends up on a “"bad"" weather week

We were here about 8am. No one was there, no scammers, no crowds. We could enjoy the steps which were built 1723-26 to link the square to the church. There are 3 terraces for the holy trinity. I know they are just steps, but the church on the top is pretty. Very close to the Metro Spagns stop. Not a must see, but nice in my opinion.
