This is a stunning site, and our guide was terrific. She had so many stories about how and why things happened as they did, not just the bare facts. She also was engaging and entertaining, and we appreciated her excellent English.

My wife and I booked this private tour and I highly recommend this tour if you (a) are a couple particularly that loves art, (b) want to skip all the lines and headaches of knowing where to go and how to do it, and (c) want to experience the Vatican from a unique perspective. Our guide, Jada, was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable (art history education / artist) on the art and the overall workings of the Vatican and history.

This was the absolute best way to start your Rome vacation. Benny was our guide and she was amazing, knowledgeable, enthusiastic about the history she taught us about all the sites she showed us. We got a great overview of all the sites and made our plans for more information depth tours at our favorite locations. Highly recommend doing this tour on your first day of exploring Rome especially if you get Benny as your guide.

I thoroughly enjoyed a guided tour with Sarah Ball. Our small group went on a journey back in time as we were expertly guided through the graves of the famous, infamous and unmarked graves. It was fascinating to learn the back stories behind some of the people buried in Highgate. Great also to learn some of the history of the cemetry itself. The icing on the cake was a visit to the catacombs, whose tantalising secrets Sarah expertly revealed. I will definitely come again to this fascinating place and would thoroughly reccommned.

This is a fantastic way to see the highlights of the Vatican, Sistine chapel, and basilica! No line, Laura was fantastic! She told the history of the period and was obviously passionate about this region. She handled a situation ( my upset stomach) with patience, grace, and ease. What a professional!!

Thank you to Daniel who gave us a great tour! We appreciated getting to places we would not have been able to visit on foot with fabulous views of the ancient city of Rome.

We had the Rome Highlights by Golf Cart tour booked for the day we arrived in Rome. As soon as we landed, we received a message from Turtle Tour Rome that they could start our tour earlier than booked if we wanted, which would have been great except our plane was late arriving and we had to wait forever for the rental car. We were in constant contact with the tour company but were so worried that they would cancel because we weren't at the meeting point on time. Luckily Biagio was still there waiting for us and took us on a great tour of Rome. He asked what we had planned while in Rome so that he wasn't doubling up on something we were going to see. Biagio was very informative, spoke very good English, was able to answer most of our questions, and told us the best places to get a picture at the sites we visited. He even dropped us off near the parking garage so we wouldn't have to walk so far back to the vehicle. Biagio gave us some recommendations for restaurants and gelato but we forgot to grab his notes the next day. I texted him again to ask the name of the gelato place and he responded quickly (after hours I might add). We were so grateful for his kind and attentive service. With this tour, we were able to visit more places in the few days we had in Rome.

We had a family group (6 adults + 8 month old infant) and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The "Comfort Option," which included a pickup at our apartment in Rome was outstanding. Our guide, Marina, was truly wonderful. She was not only fluent in English but also extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican and (BONUS!) had great relationships with the Vatican staff. All of the above made for an exceptional experience. We are happy to offer our strongest endorsement for this tour. You won't be disappointed!

What an amazing trip. Using the train was super easy and fast. Pompeii was fantastic and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Lunch was scrumptious. The tour around Naples was fantastic, and having free time was great. We wish we could have had more time there, but it was great to fit another city into our packed itinerary.
