What travelers are saying
- Leona travel Malta /MarinaMalta28 contributionsAmazing city of art, culture , fashion, good food. Visited Vatican, few churches, Caravaggio's place of living, Villa Berlini and Vicki Farnese. Also Gladiator school and Porto di Roma shopping centreWritten February 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The Spanish Steps ApartmentRome, Italy33,977 contributionsRecently re-opened after extensive renovation, this is a beautiful shopping arcade just across from Piazza Colonna. It has lovely Art Nouveau stained glass ceilings and is well worth a look if you are in the area. It has some clothing shops, a pastry shop, and a large toy store. As of May 2024, there are still some restaurants that have not opened yet but are expected to open soon.Written May 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PojoReuver, The Netherlands11 contributionsI came here during a vacation in Italy, we went shopping here a few times and it was excellent, lots of stores, lots of choices and the building was beautiful, kind of reminds me of a different building, definitely a place where you can shop very good.Written August 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Outside of the centre and chaos of Rome, Maximo is a typical shopping Centre. There are a few levels with typical Italian and international retailers. There is a food court and other sit down restaurants and a grocery store as well.
The concierge desk is helpful in directing and organizing your taxi and there is also parking.
I chose to visit Franck Provost salon to get a fresh haircut/colour after lounging around the Adriatic coast and before continuing my journey through several Italian regions. Really appreciated the friendly staff and great service here (a little splurge but felt so much better)!
Picked up some nice little outfits followed by some lunch and a few items from the supermarket.
All in all, a nice experience at Maximo!Written February 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You take the metro to the last stop and then you take a taxi to the mall, you can find taxis next to the metro station on arrival but when leaving the mall it’s impossible to find any taxi so be aware. We were lucky because a lovely lady helped us by calling a taxi to take us back to the metro station.Written August 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CFH17 contributionsNot a huge selection of shops. Nice place to go when looking for something to do for an hour or so. Good selection of fast food restaurants.Written August 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dapper777Monaco65,514 contributionsThe shopping mall is rather small and is located a few steps from the Furio Camillo Metro Station.
We often go to the H&M and Decathlon stores which are on the same premises.
For the rest, the brands and the shops in the mall are few and of modest quality and therefore not very interesting for us.
In the courtyard in front there are also food stores. Some of them are in the open air and therefore exposed to rain: however we have never tried them.
If you are in the Via Appia Nuova area, give it a look.Written March 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was very clean and very reasonably priced. A nice getaway from the crowds in Rome.Written October 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
