    Wonderful guide in Pompeii and great, funny, entertaining tour guide for the trip. Beautiful views from Mt. Vesuvius. A bit of a steep incline for those of us who are older. The walking sticks offered at the entrance were helpful.

    Would like to see a combo trip of Pompeii and Herculaneum from Sorrento.

    Excellent tour, wonderful guide. Well worth the price.
    It made all the difference to have a private tour with a knowledgeable guide. It greatly increases the efficiency of the time, moving more easily among the destinations than the larger groups we saw. Luciana was an excellent, very knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend this tour.

    Wonderful!
    Luciana was a wonderful guide, pleasant and knowledgeable. She painted a picture of ancient Pompei that allowed us to experience life as it was. I highly recommend taking this guided tour.

    Andrea is 5 stars
    Andrea our tour guide was amazing. He was so passionate and kept us engaged the whole time. Exceeded our expectations completely. You could tell had a genuine interest and energy to want to share his knowledge with us which made the experience even better. Side note Herculeum is totally worth it and in my opinion better than Pompeii! . 5 stars all the way bravo.

    Excellent tour, passionate guide, transportation included.
    Excellent tour! It was about 5 hours total. They provided accomodations to pick us up at our hotel at 10:10. Bus of about 30 people, but once we got to the excavation site, they split us in half. Took about 40 mins to reach the destination from Gibraldi Square in Naples. Over the 2-3 hour walking tour, we covered about a 1/3 Pompeii, focusing on the major points of interest. Our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable. Afterwards we were given 30 mins to check out the shops on the close vicinity. Afterwards the bus brought us back to the Train Station in Naples. Would recommend a tour over walking around on your own. While we had accomodations to go back to Naples, some people went on to the Mount Vesuvius tour, while others were staying longer to your Pompeii on your own. The included transportation is great of you don't have a lot of time to dedicate to viewing Pompeii.

    Rosella was a fantastic guide. Thoroughly recommend this tour as a smooth fuss free way to experience more ancient Roman highlights outside of Rome, as well as experience delicious fresh pizza/Neapolitan pastries and Naples highlights.

    Great guided tour with Carmine
    Carmine was an excellent guide for our visit. He was friendly and knowledgeable and he helped us skirt the large crowds and brought us to the must-see sites.

    In addition, Carmine met us at the train station and accommodated our earlier than expected arrival. He led us to the archeological site, showed us where to store our luggage at no cost and began our tour promptly.

    A good introduction to Pompeii and Vesuvius
    This was a good, comfortable, well organized and well led bus tour from Rome to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. This tour delivered what it promised to do and was a good introduction to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius National Park. To understand this tour, you have to understand the limitations of a day tour by bus. You will be traveling with a large amount of people and you will be herded from place to place. You will not get to choose what you want to do, or how long to do it. You will not get to explore Pompeii at a leisurely pace, or even have time to explore the whole town. We had less than 2 hours at Pompeii. You will end up stopping in tourist traps along the highway because they are the only bathroom facilities large enough to host tour buses. That being said, this was a very nice tour. Bus was comfortable, my the tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable and we got to experience two bucket list destinations in one day. On the downside, Pompeii was extremely crowded, we saw relatively little of it, the lunch place was mediocre at best and the rest stops were at this awful tacky restaurant/ gift shop that had bad food and sold liquors in pornographic bottles.

    Great Day out
    Great day out, Walter our tour guide was informative, friendly and very funny!

    Food included is average at best would be the only downside. Could of done with ear pieces for the Pompeii tour as it was very busy.

    Great day out
    We had an excellent day out - seeing these 3 historic sites in one day yet not feeling rushed. Gabby and Donato - our tour guide and driver - were great at keeping the group together, getting some laughs, and shepherding our group from point to point. All in all, a very memorable trip - and we had great luck with the weather!

    Fun and enjoyable!
    Very enjoyable and pleasant experience. The guides were informative and made the experience fun. The tour included a panoramic tour of Naples before heading to Pompei. It’s a long tour, but not too tiring! All in all very beautiful and would recommend.

    The best way to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast from Rome
    Wonderful way to see Pompeii and the Amalfi coast! Our driver, Jose, and guide, JJ, were wonderful - friendly, helpful. Our local Pompeii tour guide was such a character - you had to walk fast to keep up with him, and he was not only entertaining but also very informative. It was nice that we only had 4 in our mini van for the tour and 6 for the Pompeii visit. The 2 hours in Positano went by quickly. Jose is an excellent driver, managing the crowds and the winding narrow streets. JJ suggested the perfect spot for lunch - right by the water. It was a lot of time in the car since we started and ended in Rome, but I would not have wanted to do it any other way. Thank you, Jose and JJ!

    Great Way to Spend A Day in Campania
    Manuella, our Pompeii tour guide, was awesome. She provided relevant information with enthusiasm, which is surprising given that she's probably said the same things hundreds of times. The wineries were not exactly on the slopes of Vesuvius like I was imagining, but they were very kind hosts with generous pours and good food. We had the opportunity to drink and eat quite a bit which made for a fun and lively afternoon with the rest of the group.
