Arrived by bus 204 from Via Toledo (1.3€ single fare), bought tickets for catacombe online earlier that day (very easy to make purchase). less than an hour tour, bit great story and experience. when you buy San Gennaro catacombe ticket, you get free entry for other catacombs nearby. tricky part is to return, recomend to walk back with the guide and catch same bus that you arrived with.Written September 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel MRomania306 contributionsCrowded little streets where everyone wants to sell you something at an overpriced price.

- Stuart TaggartBirmingham, UK292 contributionsWe visited this stunning opera house to watch Verdi's La Traviata and was amazed at the building and the sounds from the opera singers. What an absolutely beautiful place and should be on your bucket list of places to visit. Just simply stunning.Written September 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brad SBrisbane, Australia53 contributionsI thought this museum was great. Loads of interesting sculptures/statues and also a great exhibition of items found is the Vesuvius area (Pompeii & Herculaneum).
The only let down is A. Price at €20 is massively steep compared to other museums and also the tags on a few of the exhibits were either damaged and unreadable or missing altogether. Free wifi but no online guide or tour that I could find.
All in all an enjoyable experience though but I do wish they’d spend some of that entrance fee on the upkeep!Written September 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kocspeter1980Nyköping, Sweden20 contributionsRomantic sunset. Classic Napoli with the view of the whole bay. Easy to reach from Montesanto station by funiculare ( funicularetickets are cheap and you csn buy themat the Tabacchi) On your way back from Montesanto is the best marketexperience with plenty of locals doing their daily caos. - Elena RMontreal, Canada4 contributionsWhat a magnificent church! I have been there before, but can't resist the temptation to go there again and again when I am in Naples. It is so beautiful. There you can also read the story of Dr. Moscati who is now a saint, and hear the amazing choir if you are there during a service.Written May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HeidiJ433Raleigh, NC10 contributionsIf you have spent a lot of time in old churches and enjoy them this is a great place. So interesting art and settings. The area is fun and very touristy but has some fun restaurants and bars. There are lots of domed churches in the area tho so a bit hard to find. I thought two other ones were the duomo.Written September 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
