We chose the Memory Lane your and enjoyed it very much. I don’t think one should skip it when in Naples. Our guide, Martina, was friendly and did a great job in explaining to us about the history of the tunnels that even my youngest daughter aged 4 was captivated by it! Not only that I learnt from the tour, but I like it that it left an impression on my children. We still talk about Galleria Bourbonica until today 😊

Super interesting English language tour with guide Agostino!
His English is great, he´s friendly, very knowledgeable and had a great way of telling stories and making their history very interesting and humorous! He interacted with his tour group a lot.
Great way of spending 1-2 hours (should you have bad weather, defo do this!)

    Highly recommend!

One of the hearts of chaotic Naples. Loads to entertain the senses. They even have pizza here. Bustling. Not our favourite spot but a must visit

Great place to see and visit. I have been past a couple of times when I have been in Napoli, once being in the height of summer and It was a bit busy, but not too bad, still managed to get some good photos… I think, at least, I have also been in January, still 16°c and reasonably busy, on a day when Napoli were playing at home too 😂 I still managed to get some good photos and enjoy the surroundings. Well worth a visit to see.
Not a bad walk up to it either really.
Incidentally, I’ve added photos from trips at different times of the year… not sure if you will be able to tell.

Extremely interesting museum focused on the history of medicine, and in Naples, in particular. Many unique and fascinating medical tools are displayed. A guided tour in Italian brings the highlights to fore. Unfortunately, the historic pharmacy was closed for restoration when I visited, but enough to see otherwise to make the trip.

Somewhat difficult to access, as there is a large iron gate that protects the entire complex of the Incurabili, but a guard called and museum and let me in. Well worth the effort. Not to be missed if you are interesting in the medical field and/or history.

What an interesting site! We don't speak much Italian and happened to arrive on a day when the member of the team who speaks the best English wasn't around, but we still had a very interesting tour led by one of the family who excavated the site and turned it into an underground home for eight decades ago. Gives you an interesting feel for the neighborhood and its people and the resourcefulness of the Napoletani.

The visit of the Bonelli Collection was a unique experience during my stay in Naples. When we entered the building we were warmly welcomed by Mr Bonelli whose passion and love for Naples and the collection was perceptible from the very beginning. Not only did we learn about the history and interesting events in Naples but we were given the chance to see the city with different eyes. We were the only two visitors at that time so Mr Bonelli gave us a private and detailed tour of the collection. The visit was free. I want to warmly thank Mr Bonelli for the beautiful journey he took us on during our visit.

As a wine enthusiast and travel planner, I was excited to visit Cantine Astroni and was not disappointed! Being in the land of the Phlegraean Fields is a unique and exciting experience, unlike no other in Italy.

In addition to the history and story of the area, the wine is exceptional. I especially appreciated the Astro Brut Flegrei Falanghina Spumante.

Another factor that stood out was the family's history. It was wonderful to be immersed in the cultre and traditions of the past. My clients and I agree that we also loved seeing the younger generation's enthusiasm about taking the lead on the wine and land that shaped their family for more than 100 years.

This is what I loveand appreicate about Italy. Time may pass, but the love the locals have for their land, city, and traditions do not. Grazie Cristina and family from myself and the TIS clients!

Giorgio was an excellent local guide. We loved every minute of the tour! Had an amazing lunch we paid to do the chair lift to the top of the mountain. So worth it.

A spectacular experience not to miss! If you are in Naples and want to immerse yourself in the lively culture and tradition of this magical city, don't miss an evening at Teatri, a small theatre in the historical center of the city, right in the heart of the city, a few steps away from the famous pizzeria Sorbillo. Reaching the theatre was very easy and the organization is exceptional so if you are having trouble you can reach out to the number on the website or through instagram/facebook and someone will respond within minutes. From the outside, the place is not visible as the access is within the courtyard of a regular building. When you step inside there are a few steps leading to this wonderful little cozy theatre with beautiful turf arches and a wonderful little stage. We watched the show InCanto Napoletano, we enjoyed it soo much! Exceptional musicians playing traditional Neapolitan songs with a wonderful singer and very talented dancers dressed in typical dresses from the 17 & 18 century. The music was captivating and the show excewptional! At the end of the show they surprized us with a visit behind the scenes...we walked behind the stage to find an reproduction of an old Neapolitan apartment with old furniture. Everything was perfect, and we even got to eat pasta and drink a glass of wine included in the ticket!!! I really suggest this experience to everyone who wants a real taste of Naples !
    Expectional music and wonderful location!

We used Vesuvius vs. Pompeii Tours for both a day trip to Pompeii and Sorrento and then a food tour of Naples. Elaine was very easy to work with and provided a great price for our family of six to have private tours (and transportation) for both activities. We absolutely loved the tour guides (Sabina in Pompeii and Fiorella in Naples). Both were very informative and brought life to the experience. With three teenage boys and a grandmother, we had a wide range of interests and both guides found interesting things to discuss to keep everyone's attention. I whole-heartedly recommend Vesuvius vs Pompeii Tours and would gladly use them again when we travel to Italy!
