A quite small museum, located at the center of Naples. The architecture and design is truly stunning. It is a shame that photos are not allowed. Pro Tip: always prebook the tickets online, as the chapel is quite small and tickets are usually sold out

I was a bit worried to do this because I don't really like depth but this was completely fine. The tour lasted for 90 minutes as promised. Booked the ticket online in advance (2 days before) on Tiquets as there were no tickets left on tha main website. On the day of tour we got to the entrance 15 minutes before the starting time and didn't have to wait at all as they started letting everyone in who had the tickets. Very well organized!!
Could have heard more about the underground system and discovered more parts but was happy to see the backstage of the old theatre. Mikael, our guide from Finland made the tour very enjoyable with all the interesting detailes he shared. Thank you!

An amazing 1.5 hour journey into the underground, interesting stories from the past, narrated in an entertaining way. And very good value for the money. Must do!

I was recommended to visit here by a neapolitan friend basednon the majolica garden. I popped into the church first and was a little surprised to find the inside so bare after Chiesa Nuovo Gesù opposite. I found it an interesting alternative decorative style (having no knowledge of the site’s bombardment during the second world war). I then wandered around to the complex’s main entrance and strolled around the serene majolica decorated garden with surrounding porticos and lemon trees. I learned the full history of the site in the museum attached. The archaeological diggings showing ancient baths etc was very interesting , and the exhibition detailing the development of the convent, church and gardens, the bombardment during the second world war and subsequent rebuilding of the church was fascinating!

You should get to know the theater on a guided tour. You can feel the atmosphere of the past while sitting in the stands or in the box.

Thousands of shops, cafes, food stalls all crammed into ancient streets so that all your senses are immersed in the environment. Local shops selling seafood and vegetables are side by side with souvenirs for tourists and everything you could ever need to buy. Take time to look up, and above the shops and stalls are ancient churches and monuments to remind you how long these market streets have been around. The monuments above the shops are a great way to prevent getting lost as there are so many routes to choose.

This beautiful seafront promenade was a delightful surprise to me on my recent short visit to Naples. I walked it for an hour one way, and an hour back. A highlight of my trip.

A beautiful ornate church (outside and inside). The chaple dedicated to Giuseppe Moscati with some explanation of his history and connection to the church) was very interesting, as were the various statues and chapels. There was a particularly ornate chapel to the left of the altar which has multiple saint’s head carvings lining the walls. Beautiful and serene following the frenetic energy of Naples!

Probably the best attraction in Napoli. The views are amazing from the tops, easy to find and go with the funicular and the walk inside the castle is priceless. You will see the whole city as well as Pompeii and the volcano.

This is operating as a place of worship and the Cathedral manages to allow tourists to visit in separate spaces from the church services. Very good examples of artwork from across the centuries.
