What travelers are saying
- OasisBound TCalifornia82 contributionsThis is by far our most favorite museum in Naples and Italy. No photos were allowed inside. You have to see the sculptures in person to really admire them. We made reservations online 2 days ahead of time and waited in line for 15 mins before being let through. We would go back here anytime.Written February 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Karen2 contributionsWe chose the Memory Lane your and enjoyed it very much. I don’t think one should skip it when in Naples. Our guide, Martina, was friendly and did a great job in explaining to us about the history of the tunnels that even my youngest daughter aged 4 was captivated by it! Not only that I learnt from the tour, but I like it that it left an impression on my children. We still talk about Galleria Bourbonica until today 😊Written October 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel MRomania341 contributionsCrowded little streets where everyone wants to sell you something at an overpriced price.
Still a good place to buy souvenirs and eat street food.Written September 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The theater was beautiful.Written March 8, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GirliboiCork, Ireland23 contributionsNice place to get souvenirs and there are plenty of places to get snacks and even some cafes where you can sit down. At peak times it is incredibly crowded though.Written September 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Giacomo P1 contributionThis city is truly remarkable, and its waterfront is stunning. It is not merely a place; it is a wonderful community that embraces you with its warmth. The finest cuisine in the world is undoubtedly found here, in the city where pizza was born. The potato pasta is exceptional, and the "genovese" pasta is exquisite. A week is far too short; I should have spent more time here.Written February 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. His English is great, he´s friendly, very knowledgeable and had a great way of telling stories and making their history very interesting and humorous! He interacted with his tour group a lot.
Great way of spending 1-2 hours (should you have bad weather, defo do this!)

- G. AlvesBrussels, Belgium57 contributionsCastel Sant’Elmo is an absolute must-visit if you’re in the city. The panoramic views from the top are simply stunning—you get a full 360° view of Naples, the coastline, and on clear days, you can even see Capri in the distance. It’s the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the city and the sea.
The castle itself is an interesting historical site with a unique star-shaped structure, and the walk up is well worth it. Whether you’re a history lover or just looking for the best views in Naples, this is the place to be!

- MidwestKathMDetroit, MI1,140 contributionsNo coincidence that we booked our hotel near the Toledo Metro Station. I had heard about the art and wanted to see it and enjoyed a few times every day as we used the metro. The purple and white mosaic tile ceiling and walls along with lighting bring magic to the escalator ride to the surface! It is lovely to look at while it can bring a calming effect if your day or your travels have been hectic.Written June 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BOBBYSPARKLECyprus159 contributionsThis was one of the best and informative tours my husband and I did during our visit to Naples. The guide Antonio was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history, the catacombs and the church. He is part of a cooperative raising funds and awareness to enhance what once was a dangerous and poor neighbourhood but is now thriving thanks to work with the community and increasing tourism. He was an outstanding guide and we can't praise him highly enough. Worth a visit. The nativity scene at the end is so beautiful and the meaning of each section is explained in detail. We enjoyed this tour even more than the larger complex at San Gennaro. One ticket let's you access both sets of catacombs. They are around 15 minutes walk apart. The ticket is valid for a year but you need to book a time slot with the English speaking guide. These are hourly abd each tour lasts an hour.Written October 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
