Our tour guide was fantastic! She knew everything we thought to ask about Pompeii and took us into many buildings and the archaeological dig that's currently in progress. The walking wasn't onerous, but there was enough of it to see a good portion of Pompeii. The train to and from Naples was very convenient and fast, and the transfer to Pompeii and on to the vineyard for lunch and wine tasting was very comfortable. The lunch and wine tasting were very enjoyable and the staff at the vineyard were also knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing trip. Using the train was super easy and fast. Pompeii was fantastic and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Lunch was scrumptious. The tour around Naples was fantastic, and having free time was great. We wish we could have had more time there, but it was great to fit another city into our packed itinerary.

Nunzia was an amazing guide for us during our day in Naples. She knew the city very well and provided a lot of recommendations prior to the day of our tour. We walked around all over Naples from the Ancient Town to the Bay of Naples then high up in the hills overlooking the city.

It was a pleasure working with her and we got a nice tour of Naples and the history surrounding it.

Worth the splurge to save getting to the train station, figuring out the trains and fighting the crowds. Also saves time and energy.

Our tour guide, Carolina was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We had so much fun talking to her. She took us to a wonder area and we sampled a little bit of everything. You definitely leave the tour full and satisfied.

Our day spent with Giovanni was spectacular in every way! Giovanni was so kind and thoughtful and took us to see the most beautiful sights that included Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii. Giovanni took such good care of us and shared really interesting information about the sights we passed and stopped at along the way. Positano is the most adorable quaint little town with a volcanic stone beach that allowed us to dip our toes in the clean and blue/green Mediterranean water. Giovanni also recommended a great restaurant in Sorrento that served delicious, authentic pizza which originated from the area. The day trip was an experience we will remember forever and Giovanni was the best part of a fabulous day. Thank you Giovanni!

It's worth the price. My guide Italo was extremely knowledgeable and explained how they were able to learn about civil society by the archeological evidence that survived since all historical records were destroyed by the eruption. Also, there was no wasted time waiting in lines, and he guided me around the crowds to see as much as possible in the time allowed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time and our driver couldn't have been done a better job at making sure we had a great tour. They communicated well with us, modified the plans to meet our needs (cruise ship arrival and departure time), and set us up with an incredible guide while at Pompeii as well.

We were some of the first people off the ship and our driver was already waiting for us with a sign with our name on it. Very easy to find. We were in the car and on the way before most people were even off the ship. We planned to make the first stop at Herculaneum, which was their suggestion to beat the crowds. Being a little ahead of schedule, our driver suggested a quick stop and a small shop for a cappuccino (which we thoroughly enjoyed and I think it was the best one we drank on the trip) before we got to Herculaneum right as it was opening. We literally got to wander around the town with only 4-6 other people at the site, it was amazing and we highly recommend it. By the time we were ready to leave, the tour groups were just starting to arrive. Couldn't have timed it better!

Next stop, Vesuvius! Quick drive up the mountain, he explained what to expect, and we made the hike up to the caldera. Amazing views from there, both of the surrounding city and coast, as well as the volcano itself. It is quick a little steep hike up to the top, but we did it in about 15 minutes (huffing and puffing), and really enjoyed the time to take in the views and just think about what the eruption must have been like. Definitely a moment where you realize how small we are versus mother nature.

Last stop, Pompeii. They prearranged a guide for us, which was absolutely worth the extra cost. She knew we only had about two hours, definitely no where NEAR enough time to thoroughly enjoy Pompeii, but we had to get back to the ship, so she put together a plan to see the highlights and avoid seeing the same sorts of things we saw at Herculaneum. Along the way, she filled in a lot of gaps for us about what we saw at the other site and she gave us incredible insight into what they've uncovered and what life must have been like around 2,000 years ago.

Just an incredible day all around and worth every penny for the experience we had. There is no way we could have seen as much or enjoyed it as much without booking with Di Sarno. Thanks again to our GREAT driver and guide for the day, Salvatore and to our guide in Pompeii, Francesca. I hope I got both of your names right!

This was a great last-minute booking. We tried buying tickets direct, however, they were sold out. Luckily was able to find tickets via TripAdvisor. It was an extensive tour at multiple locations. Well worth the cost. Not suggested for those afraid of confined or small spaces. You do walk down a very tight long pathway. It did seem a bit sketchy, just show up and name on the list... but it worked.

Both our tour guide, Diego and driver, Giovanni were excellent. Giovanni was on time and navigated the traffic expertly! Diego was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and Herculaneum, giving us insights to the art and the history as well as the archeology.

There was so much to see. Herculeneum has more that we would have liked to have explored but time and physical exhaustion didn’t allow for it! I might suggest starting there rather than Pompeii.

Overall, an excellent trip! Thank you!

Luca and Giovanni were great tour guides for our family tour of Amalfi and Pompeii. Extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about the region, past and present - would definitely recommend.
