Excellent experience, just as advertised. We (two couples) met host Luca at Neptune’s Fountain in Pizza Municipio before making the short walk over to Fratelli Medina restaurant. We were joined by two young women to make it a nice small group of six. Luca was a great host, taking us through the pizza-making steps and making it fun. The pizza was delicious! Luca took plenty of photos so we didn’t have to, and sent them to us along with the recipe. It’s a combination dinner and fun experience so we highly recommend.

This was an excellent experience! The young gentleman teaching us was very kind, patience and helpful. He had a sense of humor and made the whole experience funny and memorable. The pizza that we had after was amazing!

This was a fun experience and the food was great. Our host was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. We went through the process of making pasta, then got to enjoy eating it at the end.

A great class with a great teacher. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to learn some Italian cooking, a great way to experience Napoli.

I used to make pizza dough at home after reading a specialized book and still learned a some important details. We made the dough with all the stages and then used another fermented dough for the rest of the process. The instructor even cooked one of the doughs we made so that we observed what happens when we cook unfermented dough. The association does not want to be involved in any wrong practices or simplified methods to appeal to tourists, since they want to preserve their name and heritage. If you want to get the basics of napolitan pizza making, this seems the right place although being clearly more expensive than similar activities. Important note: We were just two at the class, I don't know if it is better or worse with a crowded class.

An incredible experience to understand both the culture and people of Naples. Ang and Francesco were phenomenal hosts and very informative with both the city and food of Naples. After opening their home to us and allowing us to graciously use their kitchen, they were very good teachers when it came to preparing the food. Both informative and easy to understand when it came to correctly using the utensils to prepare both pastas (ravioli and gnocchi) and dessert (tiramisu). I would highly recommend any group of people to try this experience as it gives a great idea of the culture, food, and people of Naples!

We had such a great time! Savio is the best host you can get. He was very welcoming, sweet and fun, and made us feel at home right away. He also gave us a lot of good tips and recommendations for what to experience and eat in Naples. The pasta we made was amazing, the best we’ve ever had. We are going to get a pasta maker ourselves now so we can make all the delicious pasta at home.

We had the pleasure of wine tasting at the Mount Vesuvius Winery in January 2020. First we were greeted at the steps of the winery and taken for a walk through the vineyard, under the watchful gaze of Mt Vesuvius. Next we were shown the process of making the wine. Then we had the most beautiful lunch matched with the stunning organic wines. We ate, drank and relaxed while gazing over the vines with views of the harbour. We highly recommend this tour. Our hosts were so attentive, it was very relaxing and the wines ranged from full bodied reds to fruity whites. A bonus was the olive oil and vinegar which we purchased as a reminder of our day(along with 2 bottles of wine). It was a highlight of our day in Naples.

We had an awesome time at this class. Everyone at the academy is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed learning pizza techniques - you make a lot of food so definitely come hungry! A great way to spend time if you visit Naples.

Such a lovely and special evening learning how to make pasta with the help of Pino! He was a gracious host, opening his home to us (including the spectacular view from the balcony), provided delicious peach wine, and made one of our last nights in Napoli one to remember. Thank you for the memories and fantastic pastas, Pino!

Three women traveling together found this experience to be the highlight of our whole trip! Elisa welcomed us into her beautiful home which has a view of Mt. Vesuvius. She showered us with hospitality and we had the pleasure of meeting and eating with her delightful family! She was very patient and encouraging as we worked the dough for our gnocchi amd learned how to press each one.
She even shared with us some of her mother's homemade limoncello and taught us her special lemon Tiramisu recipe!
The relaxed pace and kitchen filled with laughter made the meal all the more delicious! We hope to go back someday!
