The Spa is well worth a visit when in Ischia … give yourself a few hours to really relax and soak in the waters and views. The water is not hot … so if it’s not a warm day you may want to make sure you have something to wrap yourself in after your shower. Pay the extra for a lounge chair on one of the terraces in the garden to relax between showers and enjoy the views. These have umbrellas to shade your lounge chair if desired. Water is a bit fizzy (naturally) with a “taste” but not unpleasant to drink and definitely part of the experience. There is a cafe for a light meal plus a restaurant outside the spa on the trail down - not sure if you can leave to eat and come back? Staff very helpful and pleasant. Enjoy!!

A nice authentic experience of ancient bathing. Lovely location next to the most popular Ischian beach, friendly staff and of course, authentic Roman bath sculpted in rock next to the termal spring.

We paid 25 Euro for three lounge chairs and an umbrella. This would be 45 Euro in Sorrento. The beach is narrow but beautiful, and Olympus is at the eastern end of Maronti, toward the L5 bus stop. The two-man staff here was accommodating. It is very down-to-earth. The changing room is sort of like a closet, there's one outdoor shower, and they don't have a lavatory. You go next door, at the Lido Sammy restaurant. But it all works. Maronti offers a bit more of a "state park" feeling, for those who like that, than the swim places in Sorrento. We had fun.

We stayed for a week at Miramare Sea Resort and Spa. Guests here receive free entrance to the nearby Giardini Termali Aphrodite Apollon. I went daily because there is no pool on the hotel grounds nor beach as the structure is built into cliffs. Aphrodite Apollon, however, offers both thermal pools and a nice beach. The immaculate pools proved to be most refreshing and uncrowded in May. There were plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy on a terrace that overlooks the sea. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained, and we enjoyed lunch at its open-air cafe which features a terrific water view. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Aphrodite Apollon stands about a 10-minute walk (hills involved) from Miramare and I mostly strolled between the two places. But there is a free electric cart service. I took the cart once and had fun riding in it. The water taxi from town stops at the beach below Aphrodite Apollon and it is about a 30-second walk to the entrance.

An amazing way to spend a day in Ischia. The thermal baths were incredible as were the main pool and beach. For one price you have access to the entire facility all day long including an umbrella and chairs for the beach and lockers for your valuables.

The most amazing experience! I was treated like a princess and pampered during my entire visit. Wonderful owner very personable and caring. I was not only impressed with the services I received but the entire center was beautiful and relaxing. This has been my favorite part of my visit to Italy. Thank you both so much.

Well worth a visit, set aside a day for this little gem sat behind the beach. Start at the top and work your way down definitely worth a visit but you need to be able bodied as the thermal spa is set in to the hill side so there are a lot of stairs. When you have had enough you can go in the pool or on to the beach there is also a restaurant and bar for lunch to.

Just back from a lovely holiday on the island of Ischia. Like the travel writers say, it is Capri without the cruise ships and herds of tourists. Hotel room was fairly basic but had air con, safe, fridge. The hotel is best known for the thermal pools, loads of them on two levels with a selection of temperatures. Very relaxing. We went half board, the breakfast is big enough to see you through until dinner especially as every drink is served with snacks. The restaurant food was excellent. Looking at local prices, half board is the most cost effective way to stay. Great views of Capri and the mainland beyond from the restaurant and pool areas. Guests can also use facilities at the sister hotel the Miramare located five minutes up the road. If you have mobility problems it is worth pointing out that the area is built on the side of a cliff so there are steps everywhere. Helps to burn the calories from those delicious dinners though! Sant' Angelo is picturesque and has a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Water taxis to other parts of the island can be found at the harbour. The beach is disappointing, grit rather than sand but there are ample loungers at the hotel pool areas. A sandy beach can be found at Fario, a bus ride away. Most beaches seem to be private so you will be charged 10 euros per lounger, at 20 euros per couple per day that soon adds up...

Loved the facility and lots of pools to choose from.

Gets crowded and noisy but that's summer for you.
