We stayed close to the castle in Ischia Ponte. Having looked from the outside, we decided to spend a few hours exploring. There's was lots of interesting history, beautiful views, and great cafes. Well worth the visit.

it's directly on the sea. It's the place where you can see the "raggio verde" at sunset. There is a big space where the guys can play and enjoy. It's far 3 min from the center by walking.

    Take a bus to Fontana.
It's about 45 mins to 1 hour to walk up. (I'm not young or fit so if I can do it...) Follow the signs.
It's only 3.5 km but it is up all the way. About a 250-300m climb.
Some shade and three restaurants on the way!
Amazing views (obviously) from the top. Great food in the restaurant at the top.

We rented lounges and spent a few hours on this beach. The water was warm and clear, but the bottom was rocky.

The sand was too hot to walk on. We wore our Aqua Socks; others wore similar footwear or sandals.
Historically, the people would take advantage of the natural heat coming up from the ground and bury pots of food in the sand to slowly cook their meals.

A long hike or short boat ride from St.Angelo. Very scenic, a few hundred steps down to the beach. Limited sitting space other than some rocks. Water is very warm.

Restaurant at the water level was empty and when they seated us it was in the rear? Why? They said they had customers coming… none ever showed up and we left.

Parasol and 2 deckchairs 20-35 EUR per day. I recommend by your own parasol for 15 EUR near the beach. In Forio for 10 Euro. As you know in Italy is more smokers and sometimes one of them disturb you. Sea is clear. When waste comes from sea people from Posseidon clear it. There is more people in weekend.

Arriving by boat, I swam in from fairly far out. The water was clean, but there were few swimmers in the water. A sand bar where you can stand on the bottom is found about 100 yards out and then a deeper section before you hit the beach. I thought the rough sand/fine gravel on the beach was fascinating because of the variations in color, ranging from some green colored material, to black, to brown, to a light brown. I did not use the facilities on the beach.

We found this beach not far from where we stayed. It's not very big so don't know how it would be if it got very crowded. When we went twice it was fine. There are sunbeds as usual @ €24 for 2 with umbrella but we didn't get them as we were only there for a couple of hours each time. The public part is small but manageable. Definitely take an umbrella with you here as there is little shade. Water is warm with grainy sand. Waves can be strong and it gets deep quickly so not ideal for young children but saying that our 5 year old loved it as long as he had a float and of course a parent stayed with him in the water. There is a small drinks bar here also. There are steep steps down to the beach but worth it .

Lovely beach with nice, clear water, soft sand. There are not many tourists in October. Good place for quiet walks and bathing in the sea

I visited this place by chance and would highly recommend stopping by. Absolutely amazing to see how much work he has put into his home which is still being expanded with more tunnels going further into the mountains. He says he has been working on the house for over 40 years and is not done yet! He does not charge for guided tours but has a fountain where you can leave a donation if desired.

Lovely little beach if you’re up for a nice long stroll down a windy road and steps, and back up again. I love that it wasn’t as crowded as the other beaches probably because it’s not as readily accessible. The sun goes down over the mountain around 3/4pm but I didn’t mind at all and had a really nice day there. Two restaurants serve food and have a typical café/bar for beverages but I brought my lunch. I did unfortunately find some trash on the beach maybe from the wind washing it ashore, so I implore you to pick up and throw away anything you see to help keep the beaches and sea life healthy!
