- Aaron GLos Angeles, CA346 contributionsSadly, what you've read in the reviews is true: They've "cleaned" all of the foliage off of the ruins, basically laying them bare and eradicating all mystery and rustic atmosphere from the site. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's still an impressive visit. Oh and it's FREE. How many awesome things in this world are free? Not many.
Simply park across the street (if you have a car), cross the street, and you're there. You won't need more than an hour, but don't rush your visit. The first time we liked it a lot to walk and to eat in the evening in the old town.
Now, for the second time, we went in the late morning through the nice pedestrian zone,
