    We enjoyed walking the streets with a local tour guide learning about the history of Salerno. Our favorite stop was the Crypt.

    Really good time and very informative, she is a great tour guide 🙂
    She is so lovely, I had such a great time, it ended up just being her and I, and it was so much fun, she even took me to go get ice cream, if you go to Salerno I would definitely recommend doing this tour, I even met her mum which she was just as sweet :)

    E così adorabile, mi sono divertito così tanto, ha finito per essere solo io e lei, ed è stato così divertente, mi ha anche portato a prendere un gelato, se vai a Salerno consiglierei sicuramente di fare questo tour, ho anche incontrato sua madre che era altrettanto dolce :)

    Perfect in Paestum
    Angelo was the best. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He explained things that were not on any plaque, especially how and why things were built.

    Great tour!
    Giada was a very knowledgeable tour guide (she's from Salerno!) and led us on an absolutely lovely tour of the city's historic center. We learned a lot about the city's evolution from it's early days to where it is now. We ended at the Cathedral of St. Matthew, where there's a stunning Baroque-decorated crypt dedicated to the Gospel writer where relics of his are kept. We ended our tour there right at dusk, arriving just at the moment the church lights lit up -- it was magical! Highly recommend if you're staying in Salerno to get oriented, or even just passing through.

    Spectacular Amalfi views from Mount San Liberatore with Enzo!
    This hike delivers spectacular views from atop Mount San Liberatore looking up and down the Amalfi coast and over Vietri sul mare! It is perfect for people who are short on time, but looking for amazing views of Amalfi. Relatively easy hike up to the top, along the way we met several cows with bells. Enzo is a expert guide and host, extremely knowledgable about the local towns, landscape and all the best hikes!

    A Highlight for sure!
    We were collected by a driver and taken by minivan along the stunning coast, stopping at Amalfi for refreshments. The driver did not speak great English and there was no guide at this point, but to be honest it was not an issue. Ravello is simply stunning and at the height of summer a welcome refreshing stop. On arrival at Pompeii we were met by Paolo, an amazing and passionate archaeologist who enthused us all with his stories. The children were fascinated and we all felt very privileged to be at such an historical place. Anyone visiting this area - please do the trip - it is amazing!

    Transportation from Napoli Airport to Amalfi Coast
    When planning our trip to the Amalfi coast I checked out multiple companies for transportation from the Airport in Napoli to Sorrento. Transferelax answered promptly and did not charge us a nightly surcharge. Originally there were four of us and the charge from the airport to Sorrento was 100 Euros. We made the reservation and as our trip approached I contacted them to confirm our reservation and inform them the other couple would not be coming. They confirmed the reservation and reduced the price to 85 Euros. Giuseppe picked us up at the airport in a Mercedes Van and our trip to Sorrento was so easy. Giuseppe had relatives on the East Coast of the US and he chatted about them while giving us a history lesson of the area.
    We were so happy with the service of Transferelax I contacted them for services from Amalfi to Napoli the night before our departure. Transferelax is a family business and this time Columba picked us up in Amalfi in a Mercedes station wagon and we had another comfortable and enjoyable ride. Cost from Amalfi to our hotel in Napoli was 130 Euros. Highly recommend Transferelax. Thanks Giuseppe and Colomba.
