- eilimc3 contributionsAlthough the weather forecast didn't look promising, we decided to go ahead with this tour and we were truly glad we did! The locations were stunning, especially Guadalest had this wonderful atmospheric ambience to it with all the condensation raising from the mountains around it. Dani, our guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and a truly approachable guy, we really enjoyed listening to his engaging and fascinating stories and we learned so much about the places we visited! Kris and Adam were our guides and were really good company: informative and attentive. While the younger group members were happy to forge ahead, we made sure of our brakes and took a steady pace with several stops for photos. Kris and Adam genuinely wanted us all to enjoy the day. The itinerary is as scenic as could be, the pace is easygoing, the road surfaces are all very good. If, like us, you are never going to cycle up to the top of the Aitana peaks but love the idea of the easy downhill slopes then I cannot recommend this activity highly enough. I thought it might be a good way to see Benidorm as we were only there for a day trip and I had no idea about the town at all. It was complicated to set up and I would have just given up, but my child managed to do it. This is the reason for 4 not 5 stars. Once it was up and running it was really good. The tour took us around some nice areas of Benidorm with great views. I think the pirate theming would have been fun for little ones, but we just skimmed over that part. Maybe consider one aimed at teens or adults in the future? It took us about 2 hours including walking back to the start, but we did not have a lot of time. You could make it last a whole day by stopping for drinks/lunch/shops/beach. - Emily S17 contributionsI highly recommend doing this if you are in Benidorm. I had originally booked for the Friday, but I messaged the company via their Facebook page to see if we could reschedule to another day - they happily and easily did this via message and resent email confirmation. Upon arriving at the front of the Flamingo Oasis hotel in the car park (15 minutes before the start time) we were advised on how a segway worked (having never used one before). We were given a good 10-15 minutes in the car park to get used to the Segway - it is honestly amazing how fast you can pick it up even if you are nervous! Great fun going down across the beach and up into the hills to see the beautiful view across Benidorm. Some amazing photos taken and a great memory! - nikkihEnfield, Ireland10 contributionsWent to both parks today starting with terra natura, it isn't the greatest of zoos to be honest,and pretty awkward to navigate around with the building work going on and it is very badly sign posted.Aqua natura is a decent water park, it is definitely more for younger children, as I'd say there's only about 7 slides in all and that is it, no lazy river,no wave pool,no jacuzzi pools etc.There's a big lagoon style pool, and a big kiddies pool,on the plus side it is small which would suit families with younger children,not as much walking. There's sea lions but no actual show
Just photos and vip meets etc. The worst thing about the park is it is so badly sign posted it was difficult to even find the way out. All in all it was an OK day out as it worked out at €20 per person per park which wasn't bad. - Dms1999Harlow, UK129 contributionsA pleasant afternoon a good selection of animals elephants, lions monkeys etc and you can actual see them .They looked well looked after which is important.enjoyed the hippo’s with a massive open window , to view them very close. I do feel it was quite expensive 100 euros for 3 adults! And it is very hilly, so if you have any mobility issues hire a scooter which was 15euros for disabled people or 25 if no proof of disability. Our guide was excellent, ensuring we were well looked after. If you enjoy walking and a little bit of climbing, then don't hesitate - this one is a must.
