Plenty choice of beach bars, restaurants and cafes along the promenade.

- carlosjoinerBurton upon Trent, UK302 contributionsWe enjoyed our 2 days in benidorms old town as it was much more spanish than i expected, lovely little streets full of bars and restaurants with a stunnng beach which we unexpectedly spent 2 days on in the end of november even swimming in the warmish sea with late november temps of 26/7 degrees, but as for the new town area of benidorm probably 20 minutes walk away that area definitely wasnt for us.Written November 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard JPlymouth, UK6 contributionsThis beach is the best in Benidorm. Far away from the Lavante beach atmosphere it’s relaxed and away from the town it’s really very quiet.
Some nice bars along the road and easy access.
The best city beach we have seen in Spain. We stayed at this end and it was very relaxing, but walkable to the old town.

- Coomer ClanDevizes, UK19 contributionsGreat day in Terra Mitica. We were really pleasantly surprised. I think the experience was elevated by it being really quiet. We went mid week, middle of August and expected it to be packed, but it just wasn't - longest queue was 15 mins. It was geared up for many more visitors, perhaps its busier at weekends or when its not so hot. Would have scored five but there was a couple of the rides not open and looks like they have been closed for a long time - their showcase Colossus for instance!
If you're a pure adrenaline junkie then there are only a couple of rides to fulfil your needs but the best bit about this park is the range and diversity of rides for all ages, shows and activities - the water-shoot rides are very good (although you do get really wet). It was really nice to have the pool and spa area also to cool off and relax for a bit, its not a full waterpark (no big slides) but two large areas for a refreshing dip. We didn't get to see many of the shows as they tend to be at the end of the day, (understandably due to heat in the height of Summer, but we have to leave a bit earlier than we would have liked due to an early flight the next day).
Food prices were ok, considering they have a captive audience and overall the park was well maintained ,clean and the staff were all friendly and obliging.
Overall our family of 4 (two boys - 12 and 14) had a great time and something for all of us to enjoy - thoroughly recommend.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I'd read about some of the negative reviews so was hoping for the best, and we certainly got the best.
We bought tickets online in advance. Got there when the park opened and went straight in. Lockers are €6 or €9 to rent for the day. No big deal really. Yes you get a 6 digit pin on a piece of paper, we used a biro to write it down elsewhere (towel label) so we didn't lose it.
The slides were all fantastic. Loads of ranges to suit loads of ages. My youngest lived the splash area. One slight disappointment was that we measured my elder child at 127cm before we went. A lot of the bigger slides you have to be 125cm. Sadly she was coming up just short on their measuring sticks. However you could take the view that this is a good thing from a health and safety point of view.
Staff were all well trained and safety conscious. I suffered a bit of bruising from some of the fiercer slides, but it's a thrill experience, there's always going to be risk of that.
We didn't experience any queue, at all. The longest we waited for any ride was cyclone which was about 10 minutes. However we visited at the end of September the day before they were due to close for winter. The place was clearly set up to take a lot more visitors, and I shudder to think what it must be like in the high season.
All of the pools and slides use salt water, but from an environmental point of view that's fine by me.
Overall a fantastic day out and will definitely go back. We had free entry as part of a package holiday so it was a nice change from the beach and busy crowds in the main part of Benidorm.
We are using a wheelchair after our daughter had an accident in our hotel. - Daniel J1 contributionExcellent day out once again. Pre-booked tickets for a seamless entry.
Park wasn’t busy at all, and we didn’t queue for any of the slides. Food was great and well priced.
Only misses out on a full 5 stars due to the four individuals that I spotted, who I strongly suspect of having ringworm. It might have been something different, but it was horrible to look at.
Overall, highly recommend.Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
