- Coeliac TravelsPalma de Mallorca, Spain78 contributionsWith only a couple of hours in the city hadn’t intended to do more than wonder round and have a bite of lunch. But all said this is the MUST for visitors of the city and they are right. This is so much more than a cathedral (impressive though that is) . It goes on and on and on, with Roman excavations, stunning collonades, chapels, Gregorian monks chanting, refractories and the earliest kitchen I’ve ever seen with 4 huge chimneys. Lovely atmosphere too, even my teenagers were impressed.Written August 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johnhouston2Knaresborough, UK5,286 contributionsThe Citadel ruins covers a huge area in the centre of the city and includes lots of intact buildings and walls. Nowadays it is incorporated into a large park and is a great place to take a stroll.Written June 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Margie DYork, PA1,795 contributionsWe were here in the evening on our way to a restaurant for dinner. It's a lovely wide open plaza, and also known for the famous Cafe Iruña.Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johnhouston2Knaresborough, UK5,286 contributionsMuch of this lovely park incorporates the remains of the 17th century Bastion de La Taconera and it is impressive how these old walls are used as de facto pens for the various types of birds you can see here.
The formal part of the park is a delight to walk around and there is a decent cafe bar at which to rest a while or take some refreshment.Written June 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Well done, though smaller than I anticipated. Rub the horn, take a couple of pictures and move on. Really nice artwork.Written May 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- rich4 contributionsthe pageantry and grace were to be admired , and if you treat the culture with respect there is no problem. but i do think it will go the way of fox hunting in the uk which is fineWritten August 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Celeste26 contributionsThe staff was friendly. All of the signed and descriptions were in Spanish, however, for the mor important parts of the museum I was given a pamphlet with English descriptions. If it wasn’t in the pamphlet, I just pulled up Google translate.Written October 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maynard D8 contributionsI went here soon after the church opened in the afternoon. There were lots of tourists inside, laughing and taking photographs, and finally the man in charge of the church, turned off all the lights, except for two or three. That basically ruined it for the rest of us that just wanted to quietly enjoy the interior of this beautiful church. This place really is worth visiting, and everything is covered in glittering gold.Written March 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nanMadrid, Spain2 contributionsAmazing museum. The building in itself is worth seeing. The permanent collection of contemporary art is very good and the temporary exhibitions varied and exhilarating. We went to the Museum's theater as well for a Dance show we loved. Highly recommended!Written September 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mario G1 contributionA fantastic place to spend some time! I really enjoy walking at the park, I stopped at a restaurant near the park for pizza and wine. Later I sat beside the water and watched the people walk and the ducks. The Japanes thematic is very interesant! Simply lovely! I’d visit this park often if I lived in Pamplona!Written January 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neil KLiverpool, UK829,679 contributionsParroquia San Lorenzo was a beautiful church we passed as my twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Chinaski Lavapies ( craft beer bar ) and what a beautiful church this is .
The church looks absolutely stunning, the facade is very cool indeed, to me it looks like it's just been renovated, makes for some great photographic opportunities.
I never ventured into the church but I was content to just admire the beautiful architecture of this church.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.Written September 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
