Amazing performance during 2+ hours. All improvised. Couldn't stop laughing. Actors are outstanding. Simply brilliant and IM NOT a theatre person. Only caveat u must know Spanish

We were surprised by the 3d quality and the 4dx effects! We've been to other luxury cinemas before but the "sala 12" was the best so far in terms of the movie experience. We watched the last movie of the night maybe that's why the seats are not that clean because I saw some liquid stains on the seat behind me. The personnel are friendly and they explained well the protocols for the "sala 12".

I love this cinema. It’s beautiful. Films are shown in their original language, with Spanish subtitles. Tickets are 3 Euros and can only be purchased from the box office just around the side of the entrance (in the alley to the side of the cinema). There are no ads and trailers, films start bang on their advertised time. There is a bar / coffee shop you can use in the cinema before the film starts. The cake was pretty great!

Went at the suggestion of Spanish friends. It was fun all the way. Movies start at 22.00 but I recommend getting there early firstly to experience the US style good offering but also to get in a good line/row with your car- it is a much reduced experience visually from row 5 backwards. Food quality is questionable but its fun. The sound wyakity is excellent as it okays through speakers of your car. Hiwever , visually, it is much poorer than the cinema experience and is sirt of fuzzy rou d the edges and clarity could be better. However it was a fun experience which we all enjoyed- it did test my Spanish languge skills somewhat !!! - pleased my friends were on hand for a little translation/ explanation !

Speciales in documentaries but also programmes feature films in VO with Spanish subtitles. We got to see the Coen brothers' Fargo again and it was superb on a huge screen with excellent image and sound. A must for cinema lovers.

The Artistic is a very special cinema with a retro look and very special program. Plenty of old movies, even silent movies with live piano!
    Will go back again!

I am a big fan of watching movies in original language with subtitle. Maybe not the most modern theatre ever but a nice option for Madrid. Plus they have a nice planning. So, overall, thumbs app! Just buy tickets in advance or go there a bit sooner because it is usually quite crowded.
Wirst thing? People eating duro g the movie! But this is not their fault...

The cinema is rather big, they have quite a number of rooms with quite a number of movies on the same day.
There's also a hall with some fast food, popcorn, drinks etc. You can buy a ticket either directly on the venue or in advance online and in this case no paper ticket is necessary. They have Isense 3D and some rooms are really comfortable.
Besides everything is easy to understand and the staff is always ready to help
