Ivan and Mario provided us the best instruction, entertainment and knowledge. The paella and sangria were phenomenal and my group and I had an amazing time. This was an amazing experience and I would totally do it again. They are super accommodative towards any preferences and allergies as well.

We took our kids (14 and 11) and they had a great time! The paella passion was at the right pace for them and they had a lot of fun doing the cooking.

Alex and his team did an amazing job with preparation and everything ran smoothly and organized. The end result was amazing.

The bottomless drinks were great for the adults. We had a taste of several local wines along with the meal.

It was a nice change of pace from all the sight seeing we were doing.

Chef's were fun and educational. Food was great. We got to sample our food as we were cooking and then ended the evening in a beautiful dining room. A great way to spend an evening in Madrid.

This turned out to be a final highlight of our 4 week trip through Spain. We were getting a little worn down by 3 days of rain and wanted to end with a bang booking the experience rather last minute. We walked from our hotel on the Gran Via to an office/apartment building and up to a little office suite on the 2nd floor at 7:30p. There we were met by the Spanish chef and his translating sous chef. We were joining a group of about 14 people from the US and England of multiple generations.

After everyone washed their hands, the evening commenced. We started with a lesson in genuine red and white Sangria. We then moved on to the introduction to Paella history, ingredients which featured important dos and don’t. We had one person who was allergic to shellfish so that gave them the opportunity to do both meat and seafood versions. The sangria flowed and the group jelled as we all got to know one another.

Then the real hands-on work began cutting and preparing. During this time two separate tapas were brought out, a potato/onion/egg torta and jamon/tomato toasts. They brought out the specific paella cooking machinery and the cooking began. The food was ready in about 30 minutes and we moved into to dining area where we enjoyed plenty of delicious paella.

We finished off the evening with several different liqueurs and they had to shoo us all off at 11p so that they could clean up.

Definitely worth the money and time.

We made ham croquettes, Russian Salad, Black Rice and Ajoarriero Cod. It was excellent and very hands-on. Loleo was very engaging, was full of interesting information and she never let our wine glasses go empty. We were full in the end with all the tasty and wonderful food. Coffee and chocolate were served as a secret surprise at the end and of course we ended up with the recipes. I really enjoyed meeting everyone in the class and met people from Netherlands, Australia and Mexico.

What an amazing experience! I was welcomed with a glass of fizz to the course, that only three of us were on, so it felt more like a private cooking lesson! Had so much food and the staff never failed to keep our glasses full for the two hours! They were so engaging, helpful and really wanted to make the experience special for us-they certainly did! They will also email us the recipes of what we made so we didn’t have to focus on the details at the time! Would recommend to anyone!

Chef Danny was amazing! He showed us around the local market and talked about how the vendors are multi generational in the industry. Then we went to our workshop where Chef Danny taught us how to cook Paella, Croquettes and Crema Catalana. Overall it was a great experience and worth the time and money spent!

We had a wonderful time doing a tasting of 4 cheeses and 4 wines. The fromagier/sommelier was multi-lingual, extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Loved the opportunity and was very centrally located so an easy walk from almost any of the tourist areas. Highly recommend it. I learned a lot about how to pair cheese, wine, and other things like fruits and nuts.
