Modern Mall at a Train/Metro Station. I was here to catch a train and since I arrived ahead, I looked around the Mall. It featured typical mall options, places to head, brand/flag outlets etc. Nice place to hang out.

Many shops and variety of purchases. Good prices (depending of brands).
Also variety in food and beverages, but with medium quality.

Nice place and pleasant situation. Even it is very comfortable when you are with kids, there is playground for them, cafes and restaurants.

We had extra time while staying in Madrid and wanted to explore a different area outside the tourists area. We conveniently took the Metro out to this area of the city, about a half hour or less, it goes fast on the Metro. You have to walk a few blocks then to the mall. This is a very nice, modern, shopping mall with many, many stores, most of the popular ones here and restaurants etc. I loved the store Tous especially. We had a nice break from the crowded city.

This an average place. Good spot to cool off during the summer, Islazul is not in the center, but we were in the neighborhood looking for a quick shop and lunch. There is nothing spectacular about it, but there nothing bad either. It's the advantage mall grouping several stores under one roof together with food court and entertainment areas for kids and adults.

I came on a shopping weekend with my mother and we visited this mall to escape the rain. It was quite straight forward to get to from Plaza Mayor - number 23 bus (1.50 euro each) from behind Plaza Mayor and stopped right outside the mall. We came here to escape the rain - it was far from busy so we spent a few hours, had a nice ice cream at Hagen Daz (really nice girl served us) and then took bus back to Plaza Mayor. I dont think we would have made a special trip here but given it was a rainy day we went indoors for a few hours.

This small shopping mall is still being reconstructed, although the Mercadona Supermarket is still open. I think that many of the stores that were there before will be changed to new stores.

I loved the view from the top here! I also loved how many shops can be find here. At the top there’s coffee or restaurant. You can eat/drink next to the glass and look down at the city!

It's not that big! I don't think it's worth the time, there is a bigger and more complete store nearby! Of course there are 6 or 7 good restaurants here that I recommend

We visited this store on the advice of our hotel concierge when we asked where we could get some quality olive oil. They advised us to look in the gourmet food department which is situated in the basement of the store and this is worth a look whether you plan to buy or not, This area also houses a number of small specialty cafes including a hamburger outlet "Hamburguesa Nostra" where we had lunch and I have reviewed separately. The remainder of the store occupies another 7 floors and sells just about anything you would want including both international and Spanish brands. My wife and I particularly like to buy our holiday gifts at places like this because It is possible to get gifts or souvenirs which are locally (in this instance) branded and typically Spanish and are reasonably priced and not the overpriced "tat" typically available in souvenir shops. On this occasion we were able to buy a couple of bowls in the shape and colour of an aubergine and a tomato and some cruet sets.

We came to Mercado de Las Ventas quite by chance. We were in the area and just walked in. It is very similar to other such Markets. It is a shopping centre where you can buy all your groceries, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and meat and so on. It is not a tourist attraction, of course, but if you are looking for something to buy for lunch or dinner, then this is the perfect place to come to, whether you are a local or not.
