Great place to eat for waaaaay cheaper. Casa de dani serves the best tortilla de patata. There is a line to get in but worth the wait. Everyone is eating g this dish. They have 2 locations, 1 inside and 1 outside. This Market has great pastries as well and my ultimate favorite is the Portuguese Market that serves pastel de nataWritten October 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Malgorzata11,025 contributionsHuge market. Lots of stalls and antique shops, heaven for people who wants to buy curious and old items. You can find clothes, stuff for the home and places where you can drink or eat something in there, too. It's worth going in the morning, after that it usually gets crowded. In any case, it's worth going there at least once.Written April 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The staff are really friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.Written March 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Dimitris LSydney, Australia39,004 contributionsWe went to this Market while walking around the streets of this lovely area. This is quite a large market place. There are numerous shops. There are fashion shops and deli shops and everything else in between. We did not actually buy anything but the prices looked quite reasonable and would buy almost anything from here if the need arose.Written July 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sheepygoldlondon4,949 contributionsThis is the best market I have been to in Madrid. It is not a tourist market at all but a market for everyday food shopping at much more reasonable prices. There are a few cafes around the market too.Written July 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- chrisv vAmsterdam, The Netherlands32 contributionsWe couldn't find it and a local resident told us that the market is only once a year. This explains it...Written June 4, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dimitris LSydney, Australia39,004 contributionsMercadillo de Santa Genoveva is a Street Market in Madrid. It is not a particularly great market to visit. Unless you are a local do not even think of making your way there, unless you specifically have made up your mind that there is nothing else you would rather do! We just happened to be passing by when the Market was on. We would not really buy anything from here. Many locals would probably have their reasons for doing so, but a tourist attraction, it is not! There is a cemetery further down the road, but not much else of much value. Also it is not open every day. It operates Thursdays and Saturdays only, from 9.00am to 2.00pm.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MarcelaBuenos Aires, Argentina904 contributionsThis friendly market is set up only for the holidays (until January 5) in a building with a lot of charm: Centro Cultural de Ejércitos in the heart of our beautiful city. It is a craft fair whose hours are very wide (from 11AM to 9PM), you can find everything from jewelery & attire to decoration for home, the beautiful building has a bar and an elevator for those with reduced mobility: do not miss going to the first floor!
Since it is a fair, the prices oscillate...after all are handmade things: unique.Written February 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
