During la Feria de San Isidro (Bullfighting season in Madrid) every night you can run into people that you sat next to in Las Ventas, and they go until 5:00am... No food so eat something, because at 5:00am around there is no food.

They have a whole wall of shots that you can choose from, including ones that they set on fire! Everyone in the bar was having fun and dancing to the music. Everything starts late, if you get there at midnight might be disappointed with the small crowd you may find. As time pass crowd keeps getting bigger, and the floor gets full of dancers. Mostly beginner to medium level dancers, and in a corner the pros. Crowd is friendly, place is welcoming. There’s a cover charge to get in but it includes a drink. Nice selection of hard liquors, specially rums. Options from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Cuba among the rum selection. Variety of Latin music including salsa, bachata and merengue. As you would expect, the gin and tonics were totally on point and the music was perfect all night long!

The staff here don’t like the English even though I’m fluent in Spanish, they decided to judge me on my identification. Outrageous bouncers and staff. The music and drinks were good nonetheless.
