This Mercado has a special charm. The building stands out, in addition to its exceptional historical value, by offering food products of exceptional quality. Fish, flower and meat stands on the ground floor. There are also stalls selling vegetables, fruit, as well as cheese. I suppose that 90% of the market is a fish market. The ground floor is the market where they sell fresh produce and the first floor is where all the restaurants are located. Great.

Mercado da Pedra is one of the markets in Vigo, the biggest city in Galicia Region, in the North of Spain. In fact, it is near the harbour and we came here to see it. Pitifully, it was closed when we visited the city and in the surroundings I see only clothes shop typical in markets. I hope to see seafood shops, so I expect return and see all of this.

Good place to go and see what is available to buy in local produce. Can get somethings to bring home. There seems to be a section to eat at tables but it must open later as it was not open in the AM

A bit tricky to get to if you don't have a car and staying in central A Coruna. But theres a good mix of shops i.e home, DIY, clothes, sports etc...
Quite a lot of choice in the food court and open late most days.

Fell in love with the Sargadelos ceramics during my time living in Galicia. This store has a wide variety of their items and ended up buying a few.

...thus we did not get a chance to get inside, quite disappointing! it looked as tho it was primarily a gift shop with a few panels of info in Spanish, but we could not get in to see, just looked through the glass.

Centro Principi is a main street in Vigo, the biggest city in Galicia Region, in the North of Spain. It is full of shops, so it is the main shopping center in Vigo. The typical shopping street in a big city, so if you can buy something, here it is a very good site.
