This house is well worth a visit, a fascinating trip back in time.
We stumbled upon this house/museum while wandering the little streets of Carceres.

It’s an artistic oasis though the museum wasn’t open either time we’ve been the bar and restaurant is excellent with a delightful ambiance and great service lovely tapas and very cold drinks.
A museum that perfectly reflects the thinking of its author and shows the clash between industrial civilization and nature in a very creative way.

We were really impressed about this wonderful little museum, which told the story of iberico pigs in this area with so much love and creativity.

This location is an “old prison” of Coria, who was built in the year 1686 and who still retains its rooms as they were conceived, and it is now housing the “Museum of the Royal Prison”.
