Absolutely beautiful concert hall. Intricate details from floor to ceiling...well worth the visit. Wish we had a chance to see a show there.

Of all the cathedrals we visited in Barcelona, this was an actual 'church.' While historic and built of grey stone, it actually had a welcoming air and without the metal grates and ropes to keep visitors and parishioners at bay, actual felt like a place of worship for people and not just a display piece. The history is fascinating and definitely makes this worth a visit and quiet reflection.

Fantastic park to visit. Visited it first on a bike tour so we got a lot of the history and then returned ourselves. It would be very easy if you are a person who likes parks to be there for hours and sit and relax. Would recommend if you have a few days in the city

Really nice area to explore, cool shops and cafes and a nice vibe. Feels like a place where things are going on.

I enjoyed the Picasso museum. We ordered the audio guide which was really helpful in understanding the art and the evolution of Picasso's work. I would not go to Barcelona just for this museum, but, if visiting the town anyway, it is well worth a visit. Order tickets in advance!

A great cultural experience, but felt the €45 VIP ticket was a bit pricey for the 1 hour show, even with a drink included.
As someone else mentioned, people kept walking through the door just to the left of the stage which is a bit distracting.
The dancers, guitarist and singers are all extremely talented and they really did put on an excellent show. Very intense, emotional, passionate and truly captivating.
Lovely building and in a nice part of the city.

We stopped and bought bread, cheeses, nuts and fruits. This lovely young man at Debon meats let us test the cheese and meat we bought. He was so very helpful. We also had take out that was equally delicious! Very fun!

Nice place for some Instagram photos. You can also visit the Park Ciutadella opposite.

Easily accessible on the red line L1.

Cascada Monumental is definitely worth a visit on your trip to Barcelona situated in a nice park which is relatively quiet. It is a brilliant place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre which is only a 15-20 min walk away.

Very nice small museum with very good quality modern art, really interesting and enjoyable. We only had time to visit two of the three floors but really enjoyed it, one can probably see the entire museum in less than two hours.

We were there for the opera recital, which was also very nice, one hour of singing by a young opera singer and with that ticket we were allowed to also visit the museum, which made for a great afternoon. Also, if you are visiting the museum you may be able to attend the recital with your museum ticket.

Please note the opera recitals arec only available during certain days and seasons.

An old iron and glass market building that has excavated extensive medieval remains from before 1700. The narrow streets, lanes and buildings are all there. History panels clarify the great division between Catalunya and the rest of Spain. there are guided tours and even a children's exploratory dig site. Interesting for sure and free.

Really enjoyed this zoo. I went while it was a really rainy day but as I went in they gave me a free poncho which I think is a really nice touch. Some of the animals weren't out of course because if the weather and there was some construction going on but apart from that it was a great time. The range of animals they have there and the enclosures are a lot better than some other zoos I've visited. I would happily go again but make sure to visit when the weather is better.

One of favorite parts of Barcelona for sure. There's such a unique and amazing vibe all around. This is a great place to wonder around in the heart of the Gothic District.

Right next door to the MEAM, MOCO and Picasso museums.
I just love this fabulous well kept secret of a museum!
Its collection is fascinating, and very well displayed. You can spend hours exploring the different cultures of the world, through their lovely exhibits and interractive displays.
Much better than all the adjoining museums!
