- amri9Panevezys, Lithuania5 contributionsEverything was ok. The car new and clean. The driver very polite, he was waiting us then the plane was late. Thanks and advise for everyoneWritten February 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NZ frequent travellerNew Plymouth, New Zealand28 contributionsGreat way to see the city from high up by the castle. Worth a visit. Don’t need to pre purchase a ticket as there is a ticket booth at the cable car entrance.Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kishor ChoudhariSheffield, UK67 contributionsVery good option to take for reasonably priced frequent airport transfer from and to the city. There are cheaper city buses available but they don’t have space for luggage and frequency isn’t that great. One can book online or on the App or with the bus driver. It gets very busy even in non peak times. If you are a party of three or four, you might better off hiring a private taxi.Written December 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rafaela0108Crete, Greece56 contributionsSeems like an old construction.
I believe it's better than the montjuic cable and it has interesting views to hotel w and the beach.
The 12.5€ one way, it's a bit expensive, just a bit.
I think it's the best route to start after the montjuic visit, going down to Barceloneta, see the view. Just a bit hard to find the starting point which is close to a 150 bus station.Written July 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great communication with driver Guillermo and Roman before we arrived and on the day of pick-up’s. Very friendly and professional service. Will use again when in Barcelona.

When I visited there were trains running to Bilbao, Seville, Valencia, Madrid and Paris. To access the platforms for these destinations your belongings have to go through security scans similar to what they have at airports and you have to walk past security staff.
Not that it worried me but the security staff were having a conversation when I walked past and did not seem too concerned with me. From there you go to the platform the train will depart from and get your ticket scanned. As I was travelling to Paris we had to wait a little while before we could get on the train. There were plenty of benches you could sit on before getting your ticket scanned but once you had presented your ticket you got corralled into an area waiting to board.
Once they started allowing us to board it was not long before the train left the station.
The other half of the station is devoted to trains to destinations in the local area including the airport. I got a train from Barcelona Airport to Sants station and it did not take long to get there.
There are plenty of trains running to different places around the city and to access these platforms you need a ticket to get onto the platform by using the barriers.
The local trains I travelled on were all clean on the inside however they were all covered with graffiti externally.
There are a number of retail units on the station concourse so you can get something to eat or a coffee. There are also places selling snacks, drinks and magazines. There are also places outside the station.
There are also places to get information if you need it.Written October 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Once we'd found the desk at the airport a mini-bus was summoned and waiting for us outside Arrivals within 5 minutes. Our return driver was at our hotel 5 minutes early to collect us and transport us back to Airport. Friendly, helpful drivers on both occasions. Will be confidently booking for our April trip.Written January 30, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - InfoseekUKUK196 contributionsIn the UK any entrance to a tube station will allow you access to all platforms not in Barcelona, you need to check. As once in some stations you go straight on to the platform with no option to cross over to the other side unless you come back out. Also the metro map and underground map is the same L lines and S lines but they could be on a different level.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - autravelbugMelbourne, Australia320 contributionsThe funicular to Tibidabo is well maintained and gets you to the amusement park and church with the viewpoint. However they sell you return tickets but don’t tell you that their service shuts off at 4:30 pm. We arrived 5 mins past 4:30 pm as we didn’t know and felt annoyed that this information wasn’t passed when buying the tickets. I thought it was pretty hefty €12 for one way.Written October 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bill P8 contributionsGreat views of city and Mediterranean. Fort itself boring. Take funicular to the gondola. Tough walk up. If weather comfy, explore Park. But was way too hot and sunny so we skipped it.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- suz039Altea, Spain71 contributionsdecided as the weather was very warm and had booked to stay in Sitges for a couple of days to use the ferry. Directions go to port at end of Las Ramblas and turn right. We had luggage with us which was taken off us before we boarded which we were worried about as we were not given a luggage ticket or receipt. The ferry was very quiet small bar and usual snacks similar to train journey. Very small outdoor space so not a cruise. Music on the journey of 55 mins was the latest club music and absolutely blasting so there was not much chance for conversation did try and ask one of the staff about Sitges but we couldn't hear each other. On arrival in Sitges port if you are staying in the main village it is a VERY long walk you would need a taxi or bus . Lots of bars and restaurants at the port but transport needed for the village center. Travelled back to Barcelona on the train from Sitges lot quicker and easier.Written July 26, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KelvinCharlotte, NC8 contributionsWe traveled with six adults for a 2 day vacation in Barcelona and then a 7 day cruise and back to Barcelona for the trip home. We used Bohigas airport transfer to pick us up at airport, carry us to Hotel. They then picked us up at Hotel to transport us to the cruise ship. They then picked us up from the port after the cruise to take us back to airport. On all three occasions, the service was impeccable!! The drivers were very attentive and courteous. We had alot of bags and all fit very well in the van which was so comfortable we felt like celebrities. Without question, these guys are the REAL DEAL!! If you're planning a trip to Barcelona and need any transport, make sure you have Bohigas airport transfer in your speed dial. I promise you won't be disappointed. I need to mention one thing, they will keep you updated by text. We arrived about 2 hours earlier from our cruise than our scheduled pickup. I just text them that we were at the port and they came to pick us up with 20mins. We were very happy about that. Outstanding!!!!!!!!!Written November 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JHTDublin, CA55 contributionsBarcelona has lots of taxi stops which you can get a taxi easily. It was during the Christmas days and we decided to try this service and see how it works. We prepaid 15 euro and got a confirmation with no driver's info, the driver arrived on time, no complains there. The actual cost was less than 12 euros, and we got no refund, and I saw a few taxies around the corner which we could hop on ourselves.Written December 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
