This was a magnificent building with some great artwork and displays worth seeing. A pity during the off-peak season that the fountains aren't working.

Note that about 90% of the exhibits are on the bottom floor so make sure to take your time there and not rush to other floors. We spent 2:30h and I feel like we got to interact with most of the exhibits. Some parts of the museum to be reserved for school activities only.
Great place for learning but also just admiring the exhibits. Although I study a scientific subject in uni I still had a lot of fun and managed to discover at least one new fact. The exhibits shine through their interactive nature. The little habitat including trees , fish and birds was gorgeous. Great place for people of all ages who have a curious nature.

Great park on Montjuic. I think the nicest way to get up here is to take the underground to Parallel station and then the funiclar (with the same ticket) up to the station where you take the cable car. Then you can walk around the park and enjoy the views and also go visit the castle as well.

Beautiful views and the collection was remarkable. Didn't know very much about this artist but went because of the Miro- Picasso special exhibit. Was not too crowded on the Sunday and walking around the area after we left the museum was great too.

Everything was perfect. The atmosphere and the recreation were absolutely mind blowing. And Luis, what a guide! I visited It with a friend and a canadian girl, and he completed the tour in perfect english, showing us all the details of this amazing place. If you love Alien, you will enjoy it a lot, maybe as much as he does.

I visited this place as it was down the alleyway where my hotel was .Very reasonable price and lovely shop.
I loved the panoramic tour of Barcelona in the lift which was very interesting.A few people I didn’t recognise but they all had their names on display. There were lots to see and do and in a lovely old building with old staircases.
Well worth a visit and was lit up at night .

Admirably dating from the early 1300s, it is a marvellous legacy in a tranquil area. Terrific Gothic is the hallmark, reflected in superb stone craft.

A peaceful cloister is a highlight, complemented by the lovely church.

The price of €9 is a little steep considering that this museum is on the smaller side. The audioguide was fantastic and gave a lot of info that I would've missed out on. The museum covers the history of Marijuana and hemp from ancient times, the wars, to pop culture. There is a large collection of glass bongs some of which are nothing less than pieces of pure art. The section on the history of hemp was really fascinating, and even the section about the legality of marijuana was more information than lobbying. However, the exhibit on how marijuana affects the body was very lacking and spoke more about CBD oil than marijuana itself.

Come to see a block-long sixteenth century galleon in a fourteenth century boatyard (overlook the poorly designed exhibits)

One of the best art galleries I have been to. Earlier in the day we went to the Picasso gallery which was ok and also the MOCO gallery that was overpriced, small and disappointing having been to the one in Amsterdam. At a bargain €12 and spread over three floors it was excellent. Don't be put off with the word modern in the title of the museum, it is not modern art as the Tate gallery in London. There was fantastic thought provoking art and sculptures throughout. On the top floor there was a series of paintings by Haitz de Diego depicting the war of Syria each with a brief poem /explanation of the art. The other two floors were for me spell binding at each turn. We did not need to pre book and the art gallery was quiet with plenty of room to admire the exhibits. I did buy the book of the exhibits as a reminder of a great day to reminis over the cold winter days.

This has to be one of the most underrated museum visits in Europe. A major collection of medieval sculpture, polychrome wood, alabaster, stone; obsessive maybe, but you will meet work the likes of which you might never have seen before or will ever encounter again. If that's not for you, the collector's cabinet on the upper floors is a place like no other I've ever seen, where you can wander between cases of hand fans, bibles, pipes, Tarot cards, tobacco pipes, clocks, toy theatres, keys(!) weapons, armour; it seems to never end. There's always another room.
You could spend several hours in here, and they would not be wasted. you think you'll be encountering something, it'll be something else. You walk out with a deeper understanding of the substance of Hispanic culture, and plenty to talk about.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Extremely affordable. Not crowded; I was the only one in there for most of my visit. Smack bang by the gothic Cathedral, so only ten minutes from a lot of the hotels, and with a very pleasant courtyard to hang about and talk in under the lemon trees, even when the city has turned the fountains off in October. More of us should visit this place when we go to see this city.

Good location for a couple of hours with children. A theme village of life from different areas of Spain and art museum and sculptures. Children are safe to run around without worrying about traffic and there’s quite a nice picnic/play area with some slides. We went when there was a Halloween event on and it was well decorated with actors dressed up. The downside is that all the restaurants are very much the same and food isn’t great and isn’t that cheap either. Menus have photos of the food on which is off putting straight away. None of the servers I encountered spoke any English either which I found odd in such a touristy setting. I know a little Spanish, currently learning, and thought it would be enough to get by while visiting Barcelona but encountered a very rude waitress who didn’t have time for me to try and didn’t speak any English. She even said in Spanish ‘I only speak Spanish here’ so I understood that. My son wanted churros and made it sound like I was being completely unreasonable for asking for them. They weren’t available. She then felt the need to explain the other items on the menu as if I couldn’t see the terrible photos of the food - pizza, pasta, paella etc, but we had already had lunch at one of the other restaurants (which was exactly the same food anyway). I was starting to say no, thank you, and then order some drinks when she snapped the menus shut, told me no way, I couldn’t order anything, and stormed off. I’m completely unsure what caused this sort of reaction and should not be the type of service provided in any restaurant. Very disappointing and out a bit of a downer on my mood for the rest of the day. We left Poble Espanyol soon after as I couldn’t enjoy wandering around after that.

It was a nice visit with an acceptable price, personally I think that is not worth to go there just for the house but definitely check it out when visiting Park Güell if you like historical pieces

I was expecting the detail behind each project but instead I believe I had a trip into Gaudis mind and the things that possibly influenced him, which I found very thought provoking. It helped me appreciate his works that I then saw and made me ponder what could have influenced his creativity..I sure hope I see him in heaven he was a genius !!!
