The building is spectacular, full of light and very airy. The art on show won’t be to everyone’s taste but it was exactly right for me and I found both of the shows that were on to be very interesting. The second floor had nothing on at the time I visited, which was a shame because I would have loved to spend more time looking around. I would definitely return in the future.

My husband and I fell in love with street art in Barcelona - I mean, how can you not? It's so fun and colorful, and the city has so much talent! It's all captured and embodied in this amazing art gallery. Not only a showcase of local talent, but it's also a live exhibit with BCN's artists painting right there in the store! It's incredible. Not only that, but the owner was passionate and friendly. He took the time to introduce us to the artists (one of us who gave us an INCREDIBLE free sticker of this art - so cool!), showed us around the store and talked to us about the pieces and their creators, and even gave us this amazing piece of art from one of his artists who did a performance piece at burning man that my husband wants to frame now haha. This store is a must visit while in Barcelona, and in my opinion some of the best souvenirs your can bring back from your trip and appreciate over a lifetime.

There are exhibitions in a very beautiful old town palace. The entrance is free. Who is interested in photography should take the opportunity to visit.

Great service! The atmosphere was unique and the personal was phenomenal! A long scalp massage, which was divine! My hair turned out looking like a movie stars hair!

This wonderful Gallery has contemporary artworks, both paintings and sculptures, on two floors ... no lift.

Prices are high but browsers are welcome ... a limited edition copy on aluminium of the two women, photo elsewhere, was quoted at 5000€. Sadly out of my price range.

Passeig De Gracia itself is delightful with stunning architecture and this Gallery is a jewel in the crown.

Palau Macaya was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, second only to Gaudi in the Catalan Art Nouveau movement, who is the author of several buildings in Barcelona but is little known to most visitors these days. Built as a family home for a rich industrialist, Palau Macaya passed through various uses before being turned into a cultural centre run by the La Caixa Foundation. Apart from the elegant decorated street facade, it is enough just to pop in to the light-filled atrium that serves as an entry hall with its balustraded staircase and tiled walls and floor. There is also an interesting photographic exhibition about the building and its architect.

Accidentally found this shop, had to have a nosey, very impressed with the store, then decided to get one done.
Was greeted by I believe the owner Stephane who was very informative and friendly.
Very unusual piece of artwork we had to do

    Well worth a visit

Falling in love with street art in Barcelona was a beautiful romance - swift, fun, and passionate! It started after I asked a tour guide for a recommendation for a local art market, as I love hand-drawn postcards and locally made souvenirs. She directed me to Artesvistas, where the intention was to maybe spend 10 euro on postcards. But love can be so unpredictable.

The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly! They painted stories of the art and their creators as beautiful as the pieces themselves. That's how we fell in love with Me Lata, and left with 3 pieces! Being there on honeymoon, my husband and I fell head over heels for their love story, and these bright, colorful representations of their love, which we felt reflected ours and we couldn't leave without.

And then, this Tuike Souza piece was soul-knocking --- asking to be let in so that you can discover its secrets and intricacies. It's delicate hand painted line work was not only impressive but insurmountably beautiful. I first saw lines, then a face, and then how that face was a part of and connected to another face - and it was like when you pull away from something that was too close and it comes into focus! It blew me away. Needless to say we left with this too - a wedding gift to ourselves (way over our budget, but we never regretted it).

This store was everything. Our highlight of Barcelona (along with La Sagrada Familia --- don't get me started!). A must go, if not to buy art that you can appreciate and love over a lifetime, then to speak with the amazing staff who exude love for what they do and the artists they work with.

This is a fantastic gallery, combining unique fashion pieces and highly interesting art of different mediums. The owner, Margherita, is very charming and eager to help. It was one of the highlights of our week-long stay in Barcelona.

A gem of a museum tucked away in an alley between El Born and Gothic Quarter. A must visit. It only takes a few minutes to walk through to view these stunning & fascinating giants that Barcelona uses for various Catalan festivals throughout the year.

The museum is free but donations are always appreciated.

My husband and I stumbled on this art museum while on our tapas crawl and what a treat. Very modern, clean and Spanish artist show casing American locations on canvas. It was great to walk in and see right away an abstract of NYC. Easy to get in no long lines and free to the public in a great neighborhood with beautiful architecture to explore and photograph. Walking distance to the Port Vell and several tapas restaurants.

I stumbled on this place walking in Barcelona in June and immediately was taking away by the art exhibition especially by one painting by Bruno Pedrosa. The owner - Caterina was very helpful and responsive. I ended up buying this piece later when I was back to US. Caterina was very helpful and the whole experience was such a pleasure! I love Barcelona and now have a piece of it in my home. Thank you, Caterina and please say my regards to your father, Bruno Pedrosa.

Good souvenir shop, good prices and will even give discounts if you buy a bit more. Quality is the same with the items you buy in the museums. Nice staff as well.
