Best medieval experience you will ever have, there are 100s of things you can see and experience. I highly recommend spending quality time in that barrio.

The buildings in this area are all Art Nouveau architectural masterpieces. The period at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century saw the building of these homes for the new wealth of the city most of whom made their fortunes in the textile business. Just walk around and admire these great works.

Nice pace to stroll about for half and hour or so. This place gives the neighborhood Spanish charm. Not touristy at all. But I also saw several graffitis ‘Tourist go home’ sprayed on the walls.
Anyway, I didn’t feel unsafe unlike the horrific El Post.

We love Barcelona especially Las Ramblas but this time it felt very dirty graffiti everywhere made the city feel like it has been forgotton no sign of street cleaners or any attempt to clean up
With all the bikes -scate boards- electric scooters and motor bikes walking can be a challenge
was very busy this week but no need to queue for anything
will return but not too soon

During the Spanish Civil War, on January 30th,1938, Franco's allies ( in this case Mussolini) carried intensive and repetitive aerial bombings that destroyed most of this square and killed dozens of children ! The walls of St Filip Neri have not been restaured in order to bear testimony, and still carry the scars of the heavy bombardments.

Wondered around that cute little area in the heart of the Gothic Quarters. We really enjoyed all the cute little shops and bistros all around, as well as the beautiful architectural design of the buildings.

One of favorite parts of Barcelona for sure. There's such a unique and amazing vibe all around. This is a great place to wonder around in the heart of the Gothic District.

I have been staying just off this long avenue for over twenty years and continue to come back with the main attraction the many excellent tapas bars and restaurants both on and down the side streets. There are many locals living in the area so not as touristy as some parts (if that's possible) but the restaurants seem to be frequented by local regulars especially the Poble Sec area. Lots of poverty on the streets but that unfortunately is part of life in this city.

Cool area to walk around. Nice shopping area. Even though it's a bit classier than other parts I still found cool street art.

Apart from Picasso museum, there are many nice buildings around for photo taking.
The structure can hide out what will be at the next corner, the mystery was an interesting experience on its own.

We were brought here as part of our walking tour and visited twice on or own afterwards. It isn’t a tremendously big courtyard but it’s peaceful and allowed for a bit of quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. That ceiling too... beautiful.

We walked from our hotel to Glories shopping centre and stopped for the kids to play. There are 3 little parks. All enclosed. There's a basket ball court, we saw some table tennis and skaters using the facilities too.

Passatge de Sert is situated in the Sant Pere district and it links Carrer de Trafalgar to Carrer de Sant Pere Mes Alt.

Originally it was an interior passage in a big textile factory built in 1753 and owned by the Sert family.
