My Wife and I booked the Create your own Cava experience at ArtCava whilst having a short stay in Barcelona. We were kindly met by Santiago at the local train station who gave a small local tour on the way to ArtCava, explaining about the vines and local area and taking us to a high viewing spot for a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. His enthusiasm for his area, cava and work made our time with him extra enjoyable. The Cava tasting was brilliant and they all tasted really good, the bottling was great fun with a bottle each to take away and lots of knowledge learned about Cava and a really enjoyable lunch as well, possibly the best food we ate whilst on holiday. We also had the pleasure of meeting an American tourist who popped by to buy some wine and was able to sample the cava before buying (Eddie - I hope all is well). All in all, a fantastic personal experience at ArtCava and a definite highlight of our city break. Moltes gràcies Santiago.
