We spent some hours here after being on Playa El Beril, this beach has white sand and clear water. It was pretty busy but it was a nice beach!
    + showers available
    + soft ocean waves
    - very few parking spots

It is very close to Santa Cruz. Clear waters, good facilities, many lifeguards although the waters are very calm. Sand like powder!

Very beautiful location, we saw some fish in the crystal clear water. It was super busy, people laying on their bath towels on the pathways… we left shortly after because it was simply too busy for us

Expect a €12 charge for two beds and an umbrella for the day. Depending on which way you approach the beach there are many shops to purchase water soft drinks and food before you settle down. If you have young children and want to take them into the sea I’d advise you go to either end of the beach as there could be large waves that hit the beach after the Big Ferries ie Armas or Fred Olsen come into berth. We’ve seen many people get swept off their feet and given the washing machine treatment over the years. You’ll get bombarded by lucky lucky men for the usual bags hats watches beach sheets and of course the Mojitos Beer & Coke Cola sellers not forget Massssage !!! My advice is go the Ale Hop shop buy a cool bag and buy your water and food before you go to the beach or buy small water bottles and freeze them if you can and this will keep your drinks and food cool. We always take a cool bag some wooden forks and buy fresh produce on arrival and make salads up so we can nibble when we want.

Nice beach, big waves, nice atmosphere. The sand is very very hot and you have no shade unless you rent an umbrella (12 eur - umbrella + 2 sunbeds). Also, the parking is not free (5 eur), and the access is very narrow.

Very beautiful natural beach. I don’t mind there is no food/drinks/showers. It is quiet and free spirited. Ať the end of the beach, there is a local pub which I really enjoyed.

Only minus is that quite often the beach is so windy it cannot by used. Sand is flying with the wind and can be almost dangerous. I wish there would be more not so windy days, it would make La Tejita my favourite beach of all times 😊

This beach gives this free spirited El Medano feel. In the middle of the city, lots of cafes, restaurants, shops with clothing and souveniers. Showers, too 😊

We visited when quite windy, the waves were big and it was fun for the kids. I can imagine that during a high season it would be very crowded.

This was our first visit to Tenerife, the hotel had great reviews and was priced reasonably. We went for 10 nights.
On arrival the booking in process was quick and easy. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely view out to the sea from the 8th floor.
We went Platinum and our dinning area was great. The staff where superb and great fun. The food in general was good, though the variety was lacking on some occasions. Also after one week the same menu was repeated.
The pool area on Platinum was lovely, the infinity pool was superb and had great area stocked with alcohol and snacks.
There was another eating area by the other pools, this had food during the day and was always well cared for. With Platinum there was another private bar near the Hello Bar, it was a little bit small but had the standard named drinks available.
The Hello Bar at night had entertainment on, usually someone playing an instrument and singing. The first Saturday we was there, they didn't have anyone on, downstairs in the Show Bar was Bingo and Karaoke. This made the evening very long if you wanted professional music.

The thing we feel lets the hotel down is the entertainment, over the 10 nights we was there, only 3 singing acts were on in the The Show area. Also after week one, they was mainly repeated. Myself and my wife thought this made the atmosphere flat at times.

The hotel itself was extremely clean and lovely. Its decor is great.

We had a great time and would like the staff for looking after us.

Beautiful beautiful beach, very nice to snorkel! There’s a lot of wildlife in this calm part of the ocean. The water is fairly warm and it feels like a little paradise on earth. However, keep the following in mind:
    - do not climb on the rocks in the back, there’s sea urchins
    - the stairs are very steep and very uneven, it takes a while to get there
    - only hotel guests can use the lift
    - the beds/parasols on the beach are super expensive
    - barely any parking nearby

One of the best beaches in Tenerife. The road views itself worth the travel time. There is a strong rip current in the far right side of the beach, take serious caution.

It wasn't obvious where to hire the sunbeds and umbrella from, but we did find a large area in the shade at the far end of the beach and it was also the best place to swim as it was less wavey.
There's free toilets and changing room, which was really useful and reasonably clean.

Spent 7 days in Tenerife last week and enjoyed a number of beach walks down the beach. Lovely scenery and a number of bar and restaurants all down the front with food and drink on offer. Highly recommend 😀
