- Mandy MMilton Keynes, UK205 contributionsAwesome. The road there, the views are like you’re on top of the world. The rock structures on the way are amazing with mt Teide in the background are well worth a visit. From the top of the cable car you walk out for about 25 mins on rocky ground and can see all the craters, where the lava flow was and can see the other islands. For us they were peaking above the clouds. It was very busy and finding parking is a challenge so give yourself plenty of time if you have a times cable car ride.Written January 28, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DavidG897London, UK2,987 contributionsThis National Park is interesting in its own right but the day was enhanced by the informative John Reid of tenerifeprivatetours.com who provided an excellent personal commentary on the key features and lesser known ones. - LoveTravel20787845 contributionsHad a walk at sunset - lovely beach set away from the hustle and bustle of Fanabe and Porto Colon. There are a number of bars and restaurants next to the beach.Written December 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 94009007Edinburgh, UK364 contributionsI've never been one to lie around a pool on a sun lounger but since we started coming to Puerto for Christmas we always spend several days here. The sea water in the pools is pretty cold but you soon get used to it.
There's plenty of places for drinks and snacks but this year we went to the Restaurante Lago for lunch. The grilled mussels and croquettes were really good. Staff are very friendly and the service is really good.Written January 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A much easier €1.25 each 20 minute ride on the 910 Titsa bus on the way back.
A lovely golden sandy clean beach with around half a dozen bars spread equidistant across the beach all offering drinks, food and chargeable sunbeds and umbrella (most a reasonable €6).
Sea calm helped by the manmade defences that act as a small dock for very small boats.
Weather just right.Written December 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Thoroughly recommend a visitWritten February 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Евгений Х1 contributionThe village is absolutely charming, and I highly recommend visiting in the early morning, around 8-9 AM. At this time, the narrow road from the highway is much quieter, allowing you to avoid the heavy traffic and potential negative experiences mentioned in other reviews. Keep in mind that access to the hiking trail requires a reservation, so plan ahead, and don't forget to check the opening hours.Written January 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Epp K2 contributionsTour was well structured and organised. The group was comfortably small. Special thanks to our guide Francisco! He was professional, funny, enthusiastic, explained simply and clearly.

It is uphill all the way, but we found it reasonable. Several sections of the route can be done on stairs. There are cafes and businesses located along the entire route. Once there, the park is clean and well maintained with crushed rock smooth pathways. There are plants, flowers and trees from all over the world. Most have signs with their official Latin names and country of origin. The plants repeat throughout the gardens. Bathrooms are located within the park.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- philburkhill250173Wirral, UK1 contributionThis was my second visit which should say everything you need to know. It’s a must if you like a hike and a bit of nature. It’s a stunning trail with outstanding natural beauty with views of Costa Adeje from up above. I turned it into a circular from my hotel down at sea level made a day of it. I spotted my first Tenerife red breasted Robbin plus in many of the natural pools on the trail could hear and see frogs calling each other echoing in the adjourning mountains. The waterfall at the top is breathtaking. Staff are very informative with a detailed briefing before entry. It costs 13 euros for non residents….they could charge more really so I left a donation on departure.Written February 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
