What travelers are saying
- Janet WBridlington, UK237 contributionsIts been many a long year since a visit to Tenerife....and not usually at this time of year. On a coach tour of the area...
The area was so lush...green in hundreds of shades in stark contrast to the rock formations. Now featuring more preserved areas to encourage the natural flora and fauna. Some lovely looking plants..could do with more labels on those nearer the paths.
Little lizards (and some not so little) scuttling around on the craggy rocks.
Wonderful views in all directions.
Some serious work has been done to preserve the area....money well spent.Written May 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LaurNottingham, UK6 contributionsMust go if your in Tenerife, this is the only reason I’d visit Tenerife again. Very clean, the park is amazing, suitable for family’s, kids, couples everyone. Loved the lazy river,, loved it all. The beach is huge, food on site.Written May 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- davos191Telford, UK136 contributionsOk we went as bus tour so got our tickets on the bus. The ticket booths looked busy when we arrived but we by passed them as already had tickets.
We got map of site just after we entered and went straight to one of the shows first. We did think we would have wear face masks at the shows but this was not the case.
The shows, dolphins, whales, sealions and parrot show were all as good as I remember from before . In the whale show YOU will get possibly very wet if you sit in seats where it says "soak zone". Though it was quite amusing seeing folk under estimating how wet they could get and some got totally drenched.
Sometimes it gets confusing going round the park though there is sign posts and big maps but you can still get a bit dis
orientated.
We brought our own snacks in which is allowed with some picnic areas in the park
so cannot comment on food prices or quality of food.
Overall you can certainly spend a full day there and as far as I could see the animals looked well looked after.Written May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Rogério - 53 countries visitedKlaipeda, Lithuania846 contributionsNice yellow sand beach. Can get very busy at night time.Written May 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- anrov161Los Angeles, CA10 contributionsBy far the best part about being in Tenerife! I would come back to Tenerife exclusively for Anaga hiking.
We were able to get a reservation for the Zona de Exclusión de Monte de Aguirre and it was one of the most amazing hikes I've done in my life. On the drive to this point, there are quite a few nice viewpoints (Mirador de Jardina, Mirador Cruz del Carmen) where you can stop and take pictures if you're lucky with the weather.
The path itself to the Zona de Exclusion is hidden and a bit hard to find, but it is located between the Pico del Ingles viewpoint and Pico del Ingles path, on the side of the road. If you are able to, I would definitely try to get a reservation either to the Zona de Exclusion or the Enchanted Forest (El Pijaral), but there's other hiking if you don't. It's worth spending the entire day here or more, so try to get the most time you can, but even a half day is worth the visit. I would recommend prioritizing this above the other adventures on Tenerife.Written April 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - IldaI14 contributionsThe only Beach where I would lay for sunbathing, If in Teneriffa. And I found it not overcrowded like the beaches in south of Teneriffa.Written May 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chloe BHunstanton, UK17 contributionsReally clean and well kept little park. Well worth the €10 entrance fee. Lots of Guinea pigs, birds, monkeys, snakes etc. Definitely recommendWritten May 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kiril6 contributionsDon’t understand why someone would rate this lower than 5, because this as good as it gets in this category. Great botanical garden, great views, great hike. Good quality plants, awesome for solo, couples and families alike. Totally must see if you ever visit Tenerife!Written May 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dawn BPadstow, UK24 contributionsThe area has changed a lot over the years.
Plenty of bars, places to eat, supermarkets, every other shop looks the same but it's OK on a warm sunny day.
Loads of nightlife, hotels and self catering.
Always lots of people about day & night.
Fun place to be in the town.
Could be too loud for some people.Written March 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Emma18 contributionsWe really enjoyed the day on the whole, bird show was really good, lots of different birds not just your usual Harris hawks and owls, sea lion show was okay, we had lunch in the restaurant overlooking the sea lion show which is a nice touch. The food was good, portions quite large, cost not too bad in the restaurant for what you get, but the snack bar is quite pricey, 8.5€ for 2 bags of crisps and a mars bar. The parakeets (loris birds) are good to feed worth the 2€. Park has a nice natural feel, it’s fun navigating the park as the map is not very clear but the signposts help you out. We got taxi’s there and back from Adeje, about 12€ each way, not sure how else you would get there as its really high up in the hillsWritten May 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Gary MillarNorthampton, UK314 contributionsOur favourite beach in Tenerife, with very many restaurants surrounding it to choose from, particularly beautiful with the evening's sunset if having a meal at one of the many restaurants.Written May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ClaireScotland, UK11 contributionsBeautiful beach. Easily accessible, plenty of space. Has sun loungers (I think you need to pay for?)
We lay on our towels on the soft sand. I swam in the sea which was lovely. Lots of families, friends and couples.
Only thing that was a bit annoying was people trying to sell sunglasses, bags ect, constantly coming up to you asking.
Would reccommend and would visit againWritten May 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Journey79467413 contributionsreally worth booking up to see something here, such a spectacular building. the restaurant is good tooWritten March 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
