Really lovely trip, staff very friendly and nice entertainment. The only issue was the toilet. Could not put toilet paper in the toilet, it had to go in a bin which is quite unpleasant and it creates a smell, it is especially bad for women menstruating as there is nowhere but the bin which doesn't even have a lid, to dispose of bloody products and paper.

As a one off experience this was not to be missed. Seeing the wrecks close up was great but would love to have seen more fish.

It's a "must" in your "what to do on Lanzarote" list. Amazing cruise! The catamaran is wonderful with open and shaded spaces and net over the water. So you have choice whether take a sunbath or enjoy views from shaded seat. We had a 1 hour stop in the local little town. It's enough to explore it, take some photo, buy souvenirs or have an ice cream as it's super tiny. Then we had a snack with unlimited alcohol or soft drinks and leaded to se the other part of La Graciosa. After that we had a 1 hour stop, and had a choice whether take a water taxi to the beach or swim from catamaran. After that we had a lunch. Don't worry if you are vegan. They have a option for vegans and those, who don't eat the meat. Drinks are unlimited, but do eat responsible! After lunch we headed back having some dancing. That was funny! I recommend this trip as you'll make great memories!

Excellent trip. Staff were very attentive, food/drinks amazing. Catamaran was lovely and clean. Toilets would be an issue if you have mobility issues as your climbing up/down steep ladders. The whole trips was great fun. Communication was brilliant using WhatsApp as we decided to change the date etc and also arranged transfer. Thank you guys for a wonderful trip.

Went late Feb and started well! Got on the boat, sat down and the guide was able to speak at least 5 languages and introduced the boat (English, Spanich, Dutch, German and Italian if my memory serves me well). The boat journey was nice but no dolphins or any other sea creature (sad but noone can guarantee that we will see) and we were able to take some awesome photos on the boat. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is that when they say you can swim in the ocean, it's at the end of the trip and just outside the harbour... Maybe it's for safety but that felt very weird. Thanks again for the trip

We spent a lot of time collecting people from different places before the ferry. The actual tour in Lanzarote lasted about 5 hours. The Timanfaya park was amazing, great experience for a life-time. Unfortunately Hervideros cliffs was left out. There was no notice about this. This was a dissapointment. Anyway I think there is no other way to see more in such a short time. I am happy to take this tour. It was worth the money.

There are good and bad points to this trip. Overall it was enjoyable. The high points were the ferry to Lanzarote and the coach trip around the summit of one volcano. (Coaches have priority over private cars entering the national park and this alone probably makes the trip worthwhile.)

The 'wine tasting' is really a bit of a con. As I had read reviews before the trip I wasn't expecting much and this proved to be the case. You get a taste of one wine - maybe 10cl, if that. Treat it as an opportunity to shop and you won't be disappointed. Ditto the Aloe Vera museum; it's really just a shop.

The volcano and lava fields were amazing, Lanzarote must have been a hell on earth in the 1830s.

We booked this last minute to celebrate a 30th birthday and it was definitely worth it. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the sea. The snacks and open bar were also great. The staff on the catamaran were really friendly and accommodating and our guide Cyril (not sure if that's the correct spelling) was amazing.

Only negatives were that it was quite windy so would advise to bring a cover up; lunch was a quite simple pasta with salad (reminded me of school lunches); and at the end when we arrived back to Lanzarote we had to walk 10 mins to the coach for some reason even though we were dropped off right by the port earlier

Definitely recommend doing this. We did this twice during the week. Inexpensive and a lovely 30 minutes.
On the return journey we saw dolphins which was a lovely surprise.
We went on the 12pm boat, had lunch and returned on the 14.15 boat. Plenty of time. Not a huge amount at Calero but a good wander

This was a wonderful day out!! We were picked up close to where we were staying the guide Raquel/Rachel was amazing giving a very thorough commentary in several languages on the way. She was very informative and interesting.

The only negative I would say is because there were at least four other nationalities on the coach other than ourselves it got a bit wearing to hear everything over and over. I really don’t know how the guide does it she must be exhausted!

Lag o mar was the first stop, we had visited this before but it was nice to see it again and it’s really worth a visit. Then onto the cactus garden which was interesting and onto La Graciosa. It was a very windy day and I’ve not got good sea legs but I was fine!

In docking we had some time before lunch when we could either go round the village with our guide or go off on our own. We walked round with the guide and visited the little church which was charming.

Then onto a boat where we were welcomed with some cava, and served little bowls of salad and paella as well as having a choice and top ups of red or white wine water and beer.

I note others have said about a vegetarian option, on our tour the guide did ask several times if anyone was a vegetarian or had special dietary needs to let her know in advance so she could let the providers know.

The staff serving the food were lovely efficient and friendly the guide was even helping them as well!

It was lovely to have the lunch on the boat and we all had our own tables which was good.

We then had time I think about 2 hours free time to have a wander around. La Graciosa is charming it’s like something out of an old western film with deserted sandy roads and little buildings. It would be nice to go back and spend longer there.

All in all a very enjoyable day out!!

Whilst the island was pretty and the beach was beautiful you are actually not on the island long enough to properly explore before needing to catch the boat again .
The speed boat is nice , unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins which was a shame but it does say it isn’t guaranteed.

There is a fair bit to see on the island but as you have to walk everywhere there isn’t time to explore properly

I would say that the cost for 2 adults and 2 children 200euro is over priced for what it was.

Lunch and drinks provided was disappointing for the price paid . We got a carton of cold tomato soup , a yoghurt drink and half a sandwich . Not ideal for small kids and given the price paid it wasn’t value for money .

the company Viator changed the pick up point and did not let us know. We did not go on the trip after over 10 calls that morning to the number provided it was a recorded message and they had phoned me from it!! did not get the money back. £103 plus lost. AVOID VIATOR LIKE THE PLAGUE - THIEVES

So I’m heading to Lanzarote. Flight only, No hotel. Just me, a tent and my back pack. I’ll sleep wherever I can in my very small tent, on a beach, in the hills, just nature as my bedroom. Anyone done this before?
Answer: There is one official campsite on Papagayo which is closed in the winter, you can't just wild camp. It is forbidden to just park a camper van anywhere as well, although some Ayuntamientos are more lenient about it than others. Some people choose to ignore the no camping signs as well. Given the winds I'm not sure how much luck you'd have anchoring your tent into sand and the hills are either rock, lava or picon ash. Obviously you'll need toilet and washing facilities so lack of choice of where you can stay may be an issue.

There's a campsite on La Graciosa which has tent pitches but you have to prebook.
